I took my precious cat Boo for a second opinion today. Dr. Bellman was wonderful and kind to me and Boo. She was very thorough in her examination and gave me lots of information on which to base my decision for future treatment. I feel like I can now make an informed decision and he will be well taken care of by the vets at Alford Avenue. Thanks for understanding my concerns and helping me decide what to do for Boo. Boo and I both appreciate the treatment we received by everyone there and we'll be back!!
Happy 13th birthday Jackson!
Big shoutout to Dr. Lisa Terp Frederick and the great staff at Alford Avenue Veterinary Hospital for the exceptional care they provided Phoebe! She’s home and already back to normal now. 💜

Big day for me
My surgery
The one they call the spay

I wasn’t scared
Not much, truly
My tribe helped me be brave
Dr Lisa FYI.... his personality has returned so I assume he's feeling better. Eating is mediocre. I have to hand-feed him everything. He had a big meal last night because friends brought over a care package of chicken and beef for him but this morning still only a few bites of beef mixed with kibble before he's done. Lump still in groin; I don't foresee a crisis before office hours tomorrow though. Hope your weekend continues on...
Thank you so much to Dr. Burke and the amazing staff for caring for Vision! We have found a new home for Vision to receive his care❤️ You have made this bearded dragon mom very happy😊
I have used Alford Ave Vet for 20+ years. Every one of my babies have been taken care of either by Dr. Haley, Dr. Lisa or Dr. Friddle. I would not trust anyone else with my precious babies. Buddy loves Dr. Haley. She has been there for him for all kinds of issues and I love her dearly. My newest edition is Baebae, my ragdoll cat. She was feral most of her life. She has changed completely. From the first moment Dr. Haley examined her 1 year ago this month, to this past Friday when Dr. Lisa gave her shots and shaved her matts, she has become the perfect little kitten. I love my babies-no doubt, but I love the Vets at Alford. Thank you a million times over for loving and caring for my babies. You are a FIVE out of FIVE!!!
Big shout out to Dr. Burke on helping our Bosley cross over the Rainbow Bridge. She came to our home without knowing us; and was very caring and loving to our sweet Boz. He transitioned very peacefully in our home. I can not thank you enough for this loving gift you gave to my loved one and his family. (Including me). I would recommend Alford to anyone that wants a sweet, loving, caring vet to take care of their loved ones. You truly helped us get through one of the most difficult times in my life. He was my baby boy! Thank you! Gordon and Julie Saunders
Happy Halloween to our fave vets!! 🎃 We appreciate you!

The 39 days in between these holidays offer a multitude of meals for your family to gorge upon. The trouble is that we also share these food celebrations with our pets, resulting in the accumulation of unwanted pounds for all of us. http://www.vetstreet.com/our-pet-experts/how-to-ward-off-holiday-weight-gain-in-pets
