*long emotional post alert* 😩

last sunday, we hosted The Bridal Beauty Event for upcoming brides wanting to reserve their wedding date with myself and the two other bridal makeup artists at The Beauty Room 205. when planning, i kept saying “well im only planning for 10 brides max.. i haven’t done a lot of marketing for it, it’s not gonna be that big..”......... oh, BUT GOD.

the morning of, everything was flowing smoothly, vendors were showing up and getting set up, our bridal models were absolutely beautiful, it was cool! and then 15 minutes before the event, one of the vendors said “the line is down the steps and out the door.” i lost it! i was completely overwhelmed instantly, but it wasn’t a bad thing at all. i remember stopping dead in my tracks and just crying.. not knowing why or where the tears were coming from but i could not stop. i just cried out to God in thanks for His overflow and for blindly preparing me, even though i only mentally prepared for a few girls. i know i probably scared half the building 😂 but at the time i couldn’t contain it, i guess when God is constantly so good to you even in the midst of allllll that you have going on around you, all you can do is shout.. so i did.

im so thankful for my team! they stood in the gap, covered me and prayed so hard over me, our event, our businesses and our prospective clients. i simply can not explain the energy that filled that room that morning but i clearly heard “i told you, i got you.” and then everything was perfect!

i know, it’s just an event to y’all & you probably don’t understand.. but i built my brand off of bridal beauty & my passion for working with brides goes far beyond a coin. i remember the feels of my own wedding day and the smiling faces of the 150+ brides & countless bridal party members i have worked with over the years. the tears i’ve helped wipe & the laughs we shared.. the silent moments filled with just my brushes, my brides and their anxiousness of seeing their forever person at the end of the aisle.. the bonds i’ve made, this has not been happenstance, it has been all Him.

there were so many brides & bridal party members who were simply there because of the name Coco Moore, who heard from a friend of a friend about the event. literally can’t count how many times someone walked up to me and said i did the makeup for their cousin, sister, friend, neighbor, church member, mom’s wedding day.. having brides there who literally had their fingers crossed that their wedding day was available and so many who reserved on-site.. & y’all, it was so overwhelmingly beautiful.

thank you again to allll of our vendors, my team & all of you who came to make this, now, semi annual event a success! also, thank you KDBroadCastings for showing up unexpectedly and providing us with this footage of the event!!
