A new way of designing that’s becoming more of a signature for Jyshell Creations. I love creating little incognito, “iykyk” pieces that don’t scream out the entire concept. They’re truly made for girls who appreciate the craft and creativity. The girls who know how to style all kinds of jewelry.

Here’s the midnight catch necklace a design made for the Hooked on you collection. It’s a new take on the classic Tahitian pearl necklace every local girl has but with a subtle nod to fishing. Its side profile has an upside down fishing hook. Ive made myself one with a dainty pearl and it’s certainly my favorite everyday necklace.

A special custom ❤️

I had the pleasure to create a gift for this miss aloha participant from her hula sisters. We worked on a special quilt designs with ‘Ulu and hibiscus and Lehua. Inside we engraved the Mele that she danced to.

This was my first time working with 6mm wire and I definitely was holding my breath soldering this piece so I wouldn’t burn it. Im in love with how it came out.

Hoʻomaikaʻi to all the miss aloha hula participants. It’s truly a privilege to be in Hilo during this special event. ❤️
