‘Tis the season to give back! If you are looking for a way to give back to the community this time of year you can pitch in and join Malama Maunalua as they help restore the marine environment by removing invasive algae from nearshore waters. This volunteer event will take place on Saturday, November 25, from 9am-12pm.

Water shoes, gloves, and bags to remove the algae will be provided.

Parking can be found along Summer Street. Volunteers will meet at Kuliʻouʻou Beach Park (100 Bay Street) at 9am. The worksite is at the shoreline to the Paikō Restoration Area (approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Kuliʻouʻou Beach Park).
