There’s real power in meeting families right where they’re at: especially when it’s after work, after the noise settles, and hearts are open. SHIELD was created for those late night talks, when mamas and dads finally breathe, share tears, and ask the big questions about their kids. I’ve sat with parents in Ewa and Kalihi who said, “If you folks didn’t come after work, we’d never make it.” One mom told me our late meetings helped her forgive, heal, and stand up for her child, and now she’s helping other hurting families too. By showing up in the hardest hours, God restores what bullying tries to steal. This is what it means to serve: outside the clock, inside the community.
