A healthy lifestyle requires hard work and dedication- but waking up every day to workout before the sun comes up? OOF. That’s a tough one- but so is the 5am crew. These people tear it UP before a lot of us even WAKE up! Lol!

🥞 PROTEIN PANCAKES 🥞
• 1/2 cups of oats blended into oat flour
• 1 scoop of Level 1 Cinnamon Cookie Batter Protein
• dash if cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 tablespoon of coconut flour
Mix all the dry ingredients
• add 1/2 cup of applesauce or pumpkin purée
• 2 egg whites or 1 whole egg
• 1/4 cup of almond milk
Whisk all together and fry them up on the pan! Should make 2-3 pancakes.
Enjoy with some bananas on top, or peanut butter for some added fats!
This is Jeff. Jeff is a humble, hard working, hilarious dude. This has been Jeff’s first gym experience, and I know that everyone reading this knows what it’s like, starting to workout consistently and eating healthier(and food logging lol).
So I gotta brag on him!
Jeff has been logging food for the first time ever these past few weeks.. and he’s doing tough workouts 3 days a week and hasn’t missed a day in 2 months. Plus the guy works night shift, and comes to the gym right after his shift 🤯
So he did his 9 week inbody, and.. he’s lost a little over 10lbs of body fat. And he put on 2lbs of muscle.
He says there’s a lot of work left to do, but I say… great job, Mr. Jeff. You’ve worked hard to make that happen. Your Homewood Coaches are proud of you!
And to everyone else! We know your schedules are busy and you’re doing your best, and we see you making it happen- getting into the gym and training hard despite everything. We’re proud of you too 🔥😉 keep crushing it!

Everyone meet Jack!
Jack is 64 years old and started our Prime program a little under 4 months ago. When he came in he was pre-diabetic.
He’s been consistent, working hard and listening to his coaches! Today, Jack is no longer pre-diabetic and says he sees a number on the sale he hasn’t seen in years!!

Simple quote for all of us to apply. If we don’t have any metrics to measure our success or progress, it’s easy to get complacent and to lose motivation. In nutrition’s case, I can’t tell you how often someone thinks they’re eating ‘pretty good’ when in reality, if they were to track their food, they would see some pretty severe gaps in their ‘healthy diet’! Tracking your food consistently for a while is a REAL eye opener… so if you aren’t getting the results you want at the gym… track that food and see if the problem is in the kitchen! 😉and as always, if you have any questions, your coaches would love to help!!!

I’ve had the privilege and pleasure to work with Lauren since coming back to tribe last September. As the days and months passed, I have come to see and admire a lot about her. She is gentle spirited-
but fierce in faith and in her values,
she is a relentless worker,
she is a great listener,
she shows compassion and empathy daily,
and she really knows how to pivot/handle change with grace.
Y’all… 8 out of the 12 months we’ve worked together, she’s been pregnant! But she still displays all of these incredible traits regularly.
So when I say I’m sad that today is her last day before Maternity Leave… I mean it. I’m sad y’all! Lauren Pursell!!! Thank you for being an incredible and impressive example these past months! I am so excited for you and Parker and baby P- this kid is destined for greatness with such a great family raising him.
Abbie Teague, Alex Enter and I love you and are super proud of you. (I know we tell you that already.) And we will miss you. Big hugs to you, and we can’t wait to meet your precious kiddo in a few weeks!

Great stretches to do before or after class today for the workout!! These movements will help open up your shoulders for going overhead with the barbell. Adding weight to ankle flexion (last 2 pics) stretch will help you with mobility in your squat for these hang squat cleans! And lastly everyone loves a good ole pigeon stretch 🐦.
Hold these movements for 30 seconds to 1 min each for a total of 2-3 sets. Enjoy!
I've had lots of conversations lately about whether or not taking a daily multivitamin is beneficial.
And I've had some really productive and interesting discussions.
A lot of people do not eat healthy, balanced diets that are full of vitality promoting vitamins and minerals. If you know you're not getting a variety of fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, seeds, and grains in your daily diet...just read about the benefits of your basic vitamins- hopefully it’s clear why they’re important!
Vitamin A : Promotes good vision, eye health, cellular growth, immune system function, reproductive system function... and is also vital for your heart and lung health.
Vitamin B1,2,3,5,6,12: All make sure the body's cells are functioning properly. Helps with metabolism, creates new blood cells, and maintains the health of skin cells, brain cells, and other body tissue.
