Bee-autiful 1st year celebration cake!

Soooooo let me tell you about this cake... The customer contacts me and says I need a quinceañera cake but it needs to be stable and long lasting because is going on a boat, and I'm like: "what does you mean on a boat 😭".

We know that butter, heat, and sun for a long time equals disaster soooo.. I offer to try something I've never done before which is to cover the cake in white chocolate ganache instead of buttercream to give this cake a fighting chance but I was still unsure about it surviving the heat and all that movement from the waves. But but low and behold the cake SURVIVED!!!! I'm so happy with the outcome, and they all enjoyed it 😋.
