From the first tight buds to the last open blooms, thank you for showing up for them this year.

Every bunch went home with someone who loves them as much as we do, and that means everything.

Peony season is short, but it always feels full. Full of color, fragrance, and all of you who stop by, message, and make it part of your spring.

We’ll miss them already… but we’ll be back again next year with more of these fleeting, impossible-to-ignore blooms.

For eleven months, we wait.
Then suddenly the peonies arrive, and the world feels softer, more fragrant, and impossibly beautiful for a few fleeting weeks.

And now, the season is nearly over even more quickly than I anticipated.

This weekend will be our last peony stand of the year before we tuck the fields away and begin waiting for next June.

There is a line often associated with Mary Oliver: "To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work."

Perhaps that's why peonies capture our hearts so completely. They ask us to pause. To linger. To notice. To appreciate beauty while it is here, knowing it won't last forever.

If you've been dreaming of armfuls of peonies, flowers for a special gathering, or simply one more bouquet on the kitchen table, we hope you'll visit us this Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9am.

We have ONE final peony weekend before the petals drift away and the waiting begins again.

As the peony weekend comes to a close, I'm reminded that beauty is everywhere, but it rarely shouts for our attention.

Sometimes it looks like a garden in bloom. Sometimes it looks like flowers on a kitchen table. Sometimes it looks like a quiet moment spent noticing.

Peonies spend most of the year quietly preparing for just a few fleeting weeks of bloom. And yet, every single season they stop me in my tracks.

Maybe that's part of their magic.

A reminder to slow down and notice what is right in front of us before it passes by.

Thank you to everyone who visited the stand, filled a bucket, shared a photo, or brought a little piece of peony season home this weekend.

The stand is freshly stocked with peony bouquets this morning, and judging by opening Saturday, they may not stay there long.

Thank you to everyone who made opening weekend so special—we loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new flower friends.

For just a few short weeks each year, these beautiful, fragrant blooms take center stage on the farm. Then they're gone until next spring.

This is the moment we've waited all year for. New peony varieties are opening each day, bouquets are filling the stand, and the farm is wrapped in that unmistakable fragrance that only peony season brings.

Some of these blooms will be carried home in bouquets today. Others are already being planned for June 2027 weddings and celebrations through our bulk peony bucket offerings. Peonies bloom for only a few precious weeks each year, yet people happily plan a year or more ahead for them. That's the kind of flower they are.
