Today was for tilling the next corn plot, deworming the chickens and rabbits, cleaning the garage, checking on the corn, getting Peteys hooves trimmed and lunch with dad.

We hosted the watercolor group again at the farm-it was fun to see what each person was drawn to paint.
Kathy also showed us examples of where iridescent paint can amplify a scene and a lovely use of watercolor pencil for defining lines and shapes on buildings.
We’ll see you all in September! And, if you’re a holland local, we’d love to have you join us to paint at the farm.
It’s all about consistency, and training. The more you do it, the better they’ll be, and the more they understand.
He gets all/most of his meals hand fed in a scatter method working and rewarding.
Purchasing a half or whole cow from a farmer is more manageable, and less of a shock in upfront cost and meat than some of the larger cattle. Sure, you can purchase a 1/4 cow, but you sacrifice prime cuts by doing this.
If you want something more manageable with all the prime cuts, and great taste. Go Dexter.
