Fuzzy Critter's Rabbitry and Farm

Vanilla Extract! I'm sure most people these days, know how its made. It's a simple process, but waiting 6 MONTHS!? Ugh it can be a pain, but we did it for you! And not only that, when you run out, just add more alcohol and wait. Because we leave the beans in the jar, you can make another batch when you run out! 😁

New to the shelf, Vanilla Bean Paste! This can be used in substitute of vanilla extract. Some actually prefer it over extract because of its strong flavor (depending on the recipe). It's made with Madagascar Vanilla Beans, vanilla extract (that we made), white sugar, light corn syrup (keeps from crystallization), water, and xanthan gum (keeps it thick and prevents separation). Its easier to use than extract as well.
I've already used it today to start a lemon poppy seed sourdough loaf!!! Can't wait!

A closer look into our all natural chapstick. Right now we have two scents, brown sugar and peppermint.
They are made with all natural ingredients and are actually shelf stable. First, they have beeswax from a local lady here that raises her own bees, this gives the balm it's stiff texture. Next, they have unrefined coconut oil to help rehydrate your lips, along with Jojoba oil. Vitamin E oil replenishes your skin and gives it that extended shelf life. Then lastly they have a few drops of essential oils to give them a pleasant scent! Also, the containers are completely recyclable, no plastic.
Hoping to have more scents out soon! I love the brown sugar already!

Adding some more items to the farm stand this week! There are some All Natural Chapaticks, chapstick keychains, Vanilla Extract, and Vanilla Bean Paste!

I'm soooo excited!! I've been wanting Standard Rex rabbits for a loooonnnggg time! Well, recently circumstances finally fell into place and we have our first buck! His name is Newt! We've loved the tri colors soo much and I got lucky! We've also been in love with the Otter colors and guess what... I found two!! The does will be coming to the farm next month! So stay tuned for their debut!

Not sure we've mentioned this guy, but he is the biggest buck we have in the barn right now. This is Echo, he is out of a past doe we had and our current buck Cotton, our tamuk meat rabbits. This guy is a death napper! He scares the living daylights out of me when he takes those super chill naps. He had his chance to breed this year and didn't disappoint. He threw ALOT of Chinchilla colors with Magnolia!

These are the two new does we decided to keep this last kindling. One for sure is growing out nicely, the other has a bit of an attitude, so we'll see how things go for them. They are both from Mars and Eddie Brock, our tamuk meat rabbits. Names are TBA!

Just a few things from the garden this week! Golden Potatoes, Jalapeños, Seranos, some sweet peppers and Juliette Tomatoes!

The meat pens are growing like weeds! Judo is such a good mama.
