This one’s for the haters 🫶

I did it! Another year blessed to do what I love. 💕

I’ve been taught to stay humble and keep quiet but not this time.

Over the years I’ve heard so many negative comments.

How I wouldn’t last one year in business after opening my bakery…

“Good luck trying to sell your cakes”
“How are you going to make it?!”
“You should do this, instead”
“We don’t need another bakery downtown”

“What did you do to convince the landlord to give you the space” the only one time this business owner ever came to my shop and just to tell me this in my face, like seriously?!

As if I needed to beg or try to convince anyone. This individual was bitter they didn’t get my space over me. I know all the businesses that tried to take this space trying to convince my landlord they’d be a better fit, and possibly so but I’m beyond grateful that my landlord saw something in me that I yet didn’t see at the time. I’ll never forget his kind words.

I’m beyond grateful to him for giving me the opportunity over so many other businesses.

If you lack the courage to follow your dreams and feel the need to put down others or talk poorly of an individual with a business trying to fight for their dreams, that just shows your true character. I hope you find peace and one day find happiness in your own journey.

Did something new today that is way out of my usual and NO, I’m not giving up baking.

This is just something I’ve always wanted to do, I’m a girly girl who just loves make up but mostly to help me perfect and master new trend and techniques on myself taught by the best of the best Alondra Gonzalez thank you so much for the wonderful class you gave today. Can’t wait to implement what I learned on myself any anyone who lets me practice on them haha.

Wishing my big brother Tony a special Happy birthday!

It was actually yesterday, we got to join my brother in portland for dinner with the family🫶

But I also wanted to take this opportunity to finally announce some exciting news that I’ve been anxiously waiting to share how proud I am of you Tony!!!

I’m thrilled to share that I’m not the only one in my family to venture the entrepreneurship journey within the culinary would. My brother is not just a great cook but has been working very hard growing his own peppers and creating some amazing and delicious hot sauces. He currently has several to choose from but my personal favorite is the mango habanero 🔥🔥🔥 and yes these are HOT!

He has a wide variety of different levels of heat you can choose from from mild to extremely hot!

In honor of his birthday month I’d like to promote his new line of hot sauces with every bottle purchased you can redeem a free cupcake from the bakery 🧁.

He currently has attended a few markets out in the Gorge near my hometown but I’m hoping to soon bring them into my shop to sample out and sell them on his behalf sometime this summer.

I’ve tested many of them with my personal cooked meals at home and it’s just perfect for those times you don’t have time to cook a salsa, this gives you that genuine home made salsa taste.

The customer reached out to me to help create a not just beautiful but delicious cake to make up for a previous order they received elsewhere that was unfortunately “inedible” as she described it.

It’s important to me to create something for you and your family and/or guests to enjoy, with everything being made from scratch I focus on the quality of my work in all aspects to give you the best.
