A couple weekends ago I had the pleasure of heading up to the mountains with an iconic group of women.
There arenât many spaces where fashion and sports exist side by side, where you donât have to choose which version of yourself gets to show up.
Growing up athleticism was a huge part of my life. At the same time, Iâve always loved fashion. For whatever reason it never felt like those two things were allowed to exist together. So when I went to college, I left that side of me behind.
It wasnât until I moved to Colorado that I found my way back into it. Getting on a board again felt weirdly emotional, like reconnecting with a version of myself I hadnât seen in a long time. Being around women who ride and also love fashion hits different. Itâs been one of the most fulfilling experiences, something thatâs really pushed my design work into a new era.
Just a reminder - you donât have to be one thing. Youâre allowed to take up space and be all of it.
