M. Alice Hayden Artist
Always loved to sketch & paint, Always loved biking, hiking & camping. My art melds them together.

More painting from Lake Ontario. Fabulous sunsets! any grey days, but usually stopped raining by sundown.

What a way to start a rainy morning camping on Lake Ontario. This is May, I thought we were done with April showers! Last night's sunset was spectacular, this morning foggy, now raining again. So doing a series on Plein Air painting from our camper.

Had so much fun painting along with Rick Delaney during Acrylic Live . Fun using a spatula-scraper, and love Nature!

My foray into Acrylics. Add so much fun painting along with Anne Blair Brown during Acrylic Live 2025. Okay, mine was painted on black paper, but I still like the effect.

Starting this painting, a night heron painting with Mary, Jensen. Notice he is perched on a measuring cup with some tomatoes. I think mine look a little more like apples or cherries, only began this painting. Mary was a very rapid painter who had obviously thought out her entire picture before beginning it.

Use gravity. Brush on dry paper. Yay, Sandra Strohein, my paper is not a swamp! #

As my little sketch is drying, I'm still working on it. Some more if it starts bleeding to watch.I have to wait even longer for it to dry.

Painting along with Frank Eber, trying to do it without a sketch and my paper's way too wet. And once again, I see, i'm finding that my initial paintings are coming up looking very, very abstract, but I don't hate it.

This morning, Bjorn Bernstrum, embracing blooms and cauliflowers in your painting. We all painted Loften Norway, I have a ways to go, but loving it.

Thursdays, watercolor live is coming to an end with law, Georgia Mansur' Black Cocatoo. Started with a notan, and then painted. Mine still needs to be finished, but it's too wet to continue into a dries.
