We are apparently expecting some severe weather this evening, and I’m not going out in that. But it made me think of the time I went out to photograph sunset and then a big storm formed in basically the perfect location from my vantage to safely watch it but not put myself in harm’s way. I caught one of my favorite shots ever and that was the sum total of my career as a “storm chaser” thus far.
