I'm a local that likes to support local business. The food here is really good. It's a bit expensive but still a value because it tastes good. It's irritating however, when your favorite items are so often sold out. The last two times I visited the roast beef was out. My second place go-to is the flat bread but it too is often sold out. What costs a business more - sending food home with the employees at the end of the night or customers who stop coming because what they want isn't ever available?

On my last visit I noticed they have a "non cash fee" they quietly add to the check. SO petty. It's 2022 and a nearly cashless business environment. Why on earth make it hard to be a customer?? If I visit 10 small businesses in Hiawassee, none out of 10 charge me to use my debit card or force me to take the extra step of visiting an ATM. Why be the stand out, for the whole wrong reasons??

So as exciting as it is for the Tilted café will now be open a couple nights a week for dinner. On their Google page and on their page it says they’re open. But they are not they neglect to tell you that they close from 3 to 5 PM to reset their kitchen for dinner. Hopefully they will change this on Google and their page so people don’t waste their time by going there to get turned away.

Excellent atmosphere and wonderful food all wrapped with great service. A pleasant surprise in the mountains.

Got a new craft beer on tap called Buenaveza salt & lime lager. Super tasty and also available by pint or by the pitcher! The new lager pairs great with our buffalo chicken flatbread today😉🍺
