The Things Lab Miami

Need some dog-related things? Need to get rid of some of your pup’s things? Come to our Paw-Pup Things Swap during The World Pup!

The Things Lab joins forces with , in partnership with Miami-Dade County’s Department of Environmental Resources Management and Animal Services Department, for a day of tail-wagging fun at the The World Pup!

Visit the Paw-Pup Things Swap and bring gently used leashes, collars, toys, dog apparel, unopened dog food, and more!

Any leftover items will be donated to Animal Services or participating organizations. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed donations home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!

What materials will you get at at ? We open Saturdays 12-6pm and Tuesdays 6-11pm for MAKE & PLAY. Come by, pick out your materials and settle in with a tasty matcha or coffee from to work on your own project. Can’t stay, no problem! Stop in and pick your favorite things, pay what you value them to be worth within your budget and go about your day or night.

You can also access the reuse center whenever there is a class or workshop taking place at as well as when you visit (check their schedules).

Help us keep things out of the landfill and give them new life!

Bring no more than 10 gently used items (no clothes/ no books) - things that are clean, functional, and ready for a new home! You can also come without things to swap and make a Pay What You Value tax deductible donation to The Things Lab for the “Things Swap” fund for things you take home.

Be kind, respect everyone’s finds, and enjoy the good vibes!

Any leftover items will be donated to The Things Lab. You are also welcome to take your unclaimed donations home with you. That way, nothing goes to waste!

While at Artisan’s Playhouse:
- BRING your own art projects to work on
- BUY some things and/or supplies (you name the price) at The Things Lab
- SIGN UP for a pottery or rug tufting class before or after at Artisan’s Playhouse
- PAINT & GLAZE a reusable mug or other piece
- ORDER something from the Art à la Carte menu
- RENT a sewing machine at Artisan’s Playhouse
- GET a coffee or matcha at

At The Eco Swap, your pre-loved items can find new homes and help the planet! Below are the and categories for participating in this eco-friendly exchange event.

🗜️ HOUSEHOLD: Items that are in good working condition, such as kitchen appliances, tools, or home decor. Examples include blenders, coffee makers, or lamps, etc.

🖼️ ART: We are accepting paintings and posters. Artwork should be in good condition.

🎮 ELECTRONICS: Only working electronics are accepted.
Examples include TV’s, phones, tablets, headphones, gaming etc. Please ensure all pieces are included like plugs & remotes.

🧸 TOYS: Toys can be new or gently used. Please ensure all pieces are included and the toys are in good condition.

Come by on Sunday 4-8pm at Normandy Fountain in Miami Beach! The Things Lab Miami will be swapping household items and electronics, toys & games with The Toy Library and art with Bibi Art Media.

SUNDAY 04/26 EARTH WEEK ECO-SWAP! 4p-8p One of the best ways to help our environment is to reuse items instead of trashing them, so we are hosting an Eco-Swap at the Fountain! Bring an item in good condition that you just don't need any more and give it to someone who needs it! Visit www.earthweekmiami.com for more details about the swap. Even if you don't want to swap, you should come out! Lots of cool activities and vendors and a dance party provided by DJ NEIL!
