TRUE STORY ABOUT A DOG NAMED KONSTANCE:
I swear this is a true story and I really couldn't even make this up! A very nice young Mother came in to Small Town Fudge recently and she had two very small children with her. She pulled out this torn up fudge box from her bag, and she asked me if I could replicate this exact same gift, which she had been holding for a friend to give at a (very) belated Secret Santa Christmas party at her place of occupation. I looked at the box and I asked her, "What happened to the fudge that was in this box?" "My dog, Konstance, found it in bag, and ate the whole pound of fudge that was in it!", she replied. I found this truly astonishing and hysterical, so I pressed her further for more information. She explained that Konstance is Siberian husky. Then she said that Konstance had been very patiently waiting to see if anyone claimed the fudge, and had left it in the bag for several days, but finally gave in to the temptation yesterday, and tore open the box to consume the entire pound of fudge in one sitting. At this point I was almost laughing uncontrollably at this situation, but then she explained, ..."but I think Konstance ate it yesterday, because it was her 11th birthday....she had already eaten an entire birthday cake that we made just for her, but she must have thought the fudge was hers as well!"

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Small Town Fudge is open today: SAT/SUN for any last minute fudge orders for N.Y.E. parties or special dinners. For this weekend I have the following available by the pound:

FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN! so I know it still feels like July right now, but just in time for Fall, I have created Brown Sugar Pumpkin Fudge with candy corn! I will have quarter pounds of it with me at the Downtown Hershey Farmers Market, and at the shop all weekend!

ATTENTION All My Hershey Fudge Fans! I'm trying to make a connection with a Decision Maker over at Hershey Entertainment And Resorts Administration, as I am highly interested in contracting with them as a Fudge Shop Vendor in one or more of their busy Hershey venues. Lastly, I have been working on developing some new FALL FLAVORS for the coming months, and also some Holiday Varieties, so keep a lookout for some decadent new flavor sensations!! I'll keep ya posted!!

Here are just a couple ideas I had, so feel free to leave a comment below if anything sounds good, or if you have any ideas for new Gourmet Fudge Varieties!

1) Maple Avenue Fudge (this is my long-awaited maple syrup-roasted pecan pan fudge I'm working on!) Due out by September 9th!! This one is gonna be a hit!!

2) Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Fudge - Excellent quality milk chocolate and smooth pumpkin puree go together SO nicely...maybe some roasted pecan or walnut and just a slight hint of cinnamon? ....not sure about this one yet...

3) Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Fudge ! (think brown sugar-cinnamon pop tarts!) Need I say more?

4) Caramel Candy Corn Fudge - this is a deep caramel fudge base with candy corn inside!

5) Christmas 2017!! - Gingerbread Spice !! And Vanilla Bean Fudge w/ Crushed Peppermint Stick Candy Cane

Also - Not so new, but I never did bother to post about this: I have been setting up at the Downtown Hershey Farmer's Market every Saturday morning from 8 am til 12:30 pm. There's still all of September Saturdays to go, so I hope some of you will come out to see me! I can use all the help I can get right now!!

Hello Everybody! I hope everyone has had a wonderful Summer of 2017! I have been meaning to post some long-overdue Small Town Fudge shop updates, and post some of the changes and improvements I've been making!

Hopefully at least some of you have noticed I got a new full-color sign for out front and also here is a photo of my current front entry-way down into the "Fudge Dungeon"!! (STILL under construction!!) Almost 3 full years now of renovations and wood-working projects, and I'm only just beginning!
