Many exciting changes are happening in the heart of Downtown Hershey. As you may know the ChocolateTown Square is undergoing renovations and enhancement with a new Courtyard honoring Veterans and First Responders as well as a new bandshell to facilitate Downtown Hershey Association’s Music on Chocolate series among other community events. When we learned this spring of impending construction in ChocolateTown Square taking place during our regular seasonal operations, we were faced with the very difficult task of finding a new location. A subcommittee did an exhaustive search for a location in the heart of town that could accommodate our vendors. However we discovered many logistical concerns with these alternate sites that would not be comparable to the market experience that vendors and visitors are accustomed to know and expect from us. In light of these concerns, the Downtown Hershey Association has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2024 Market on Chocolate season. This decision was not made lightly and not without a lot of deliberation.

We are optimistic about being back in 2025 with a bigger and better Market in our new beautiful ChocolateTown Square.
