Market on Chocolate

Market season is over, but Downtown Hershey is busy with the final touches for our next big event with Choctoberfest 2022 .

As part of Choctoberfest, we are still accepting entries for the 2nd ANNUAL CHOCOLATE CAKE BAKING CONTEST!

All levels of entrants are invited to showcase their cake creations for judging by local culinary experts. Categories include: Presentation, Taste, Texture, and Overall Appearance.

In addition, this year, we have attendee participation in a second judging. The public is invited to sample the cake creations for a small fee and cast their votes.

Prizes will be awarded for both categories of judging.

Entry fee is $10.00 and may be mailed to:

Entry fee must be paid prior to the event to be considered.

Today we celebrate the end of a great season with wonderful local talented artisans, makers, and farmers.

Come out to Market on Chocolate. We are adjacent to the Hershey Fire house and open until 1:30pm

We all love Sweet Rollers for their sticky, sweet, delicious cinnamon rolls, but they also serve up yummy soft pretzel bites, cookies, and other small bites. Stop by tomorrow to see Rocco and our other onsite vendors for our last day of the season at Market on Chocolate.

Crema Coffee Truck will be serving from their fall menu this Saturday. Lots of fall flavored beverages and pumpkin 🎃 whoopie pies!

The Hershey Area Playhouse Cocoa Cabaret Series is bringing a preview performance to our last market on Chocolate .

The talented young cast from the upcoming production of RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN’S CINDERELLA: YOUTH EDITION will be taking the stage in the morning around 11 am.

This week for our 8 for $8 anniversary market she will be selling tea light candle holders and decorative table catchalls.

Matt Thompson Artistic Photography will be selling framed nature photography as part of our 8 for $8 special this Saturday.

Ashleigh is a group certified and personal trainer in the fitness industry for 6+ years.

Rob is a certified primary personal trainer, certified group instructor, competed with and trains triathletes, and has coached youth special needs athletes for 10+ years.

This Saturday we have another family fitness class at 10am. We will feature Next Generation Yoga with Cindy Lesher

Parents, extended family members and caregivers with Kids aged 2 - 12 are welcome to gather in a circle with Cindy Lesher for individual, partner, and family Yoga fun! Age and developmentally appropriate poses, animated breathing exercises, and soothing relaxation techniques will awaken the inner-child of all participants. Laughter and fun will bring you and your child together. You'll be guided every step of the way.

Note: At least one adult should accompany each family. 20 yoga mats will be provided and set up on the lawn at the Market on Chocolate. Come early and grab a mat! One waiver form will need to be signed for each family prior to class starting. Please arrive early if you can to fill out the waiver form.

This Saturday we welcome back Prairie Fire Farms Foundation, Inc. with the mini horses BB and Earl.

Prairie Fire Farms is a 501C3 Non-Profit for off-the-track thoroughbreds (OTTB) and other horses in need of a second chance.

Big Bright Bounces will be on site Saturday with a bounce house activity for the kids. Stop by to get an unlimited bounce bracelet for $5 at the DHA tent and stay for shopping, music, and bites to eat with our food trucks!

Welcome back YAH BREW ! A portion of all proceeds from their sales on Saturday will benefit The Davis Dog Farm .
