AIMS is blessed to have several certified coaches who offer their expertise and time to train new runners. We start the training season with the couch to 5K program followed by a 26-week Marathon Training Program. AIMS is also encouraging a new generation of youth runners to give back to their community through volunteering and training for 5K, 10K and Half Marathons.

Team AIMS is grateful to Mr. Siva Venkatachalam for his unconditional love and support for humanity through his philanthropic activities as he continues to inspire many. He has executed many projects for Team AIMS, sponsored T-Shirts for our Marathon runners and made multiple donations, supporting our Training program for the past 15 years. Siva took versatile roles with Team AIMS as A Volunteer, A Runner, A Board of Director and A Treasurer. We are amazed by his work, charity and family life balance

Venkat Mallasanni - Thanks for your patronage. On behalf of AIMS Board we thank you for spreading the joy of running and leading the way with Sponsorships and Fund raising.

Mallasani (V.K) started his running journey with AIMS few years ago and is one of the consistent runners in the group. He is a great motivator and influencer within our group. He recently mobilized 75 runners to join the mid-week training run and show off their running spirit! He is also our generous sponsor for our AIMS training T-shirts.

AIMS India Foundation Runner Feature:
Sukumar is a rock star athlete/cheerleader for AIMS and a true embodiment of AIMS volunteer spirit. While training for the full marathon, Sukumar sustained an injury and could not continue his running journey. He channeled his running spirit to encourage the fellow runners train and complete marathons. He volunteers every single week, passionately recruits other volunteers, encourages and challenges all the runners to keep up with the training schedule. He vividly captures the running memories for all the runners during the weekend run and most importantly makes every runner feel welcomed and look forward to their training runs! His enthusiasm to serve others is very contagious and AIMS is honored to have such dedicated volunteers as part of our community.

AIMS India Foundation is a non-profit organization which seeks to bring out social and economic change, locally and in rural India. We work towards strengthening and empowering rural communities by facilitating access to quality education, providing better infrastructure in schools and empowering the underprivileged by providing interest free loans to individuals. We also work in restoring water bodies to help farmers in water starved regions. Our goal is to "bring people together" to promote both awareness and participation in all these projects.

Pretty soon we will reach the maximum capacity of 200 runners. Following our weekend run, Runners had a call with all coaches on Monday evening to share their experience, raise if they have any concerns or questions. This has been a big success as lot of runners get to share their experience, problems faced during run and getting advises from our coaches. Even if runners don’t have any question, listening to coaches and other runners will help them in the future when they face similar or same situation.
Runners have started raising funds to benefit AIMS India Foundation. Our Team AIMS is committed to raise $100K to serve the needy and well-deserved people. If you wish to donate to Team AIMS, please click the link below, select your runner and make a donation:

Loved this story. What a compassionate runner and human.
🌿🌿 Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo did something that stunned the world during the 2010 Zheng-Kai Marathon when she witnessed a disabled competitor struggling to drink water who was a double amputee. Instead of seeing her moment to run ahead of this struggling athelete, she ran along side of him from the 6.2 mile mark to the 23 mile mark (10km mark to the 38km mark), helping him drink water at all of the watering stations. The aide that she so compassionately provided her fellow competitor slowed her run time down and caused her to lose her first place position and place 2nd in the race — costing her the win and the $10,000 cash prize.
Jacqueline Nyetipei Kiplimo showed the world that day that to her, being compassionate and helping one another was more important than winning a race that she had been preparing for her entire life. Now this is what a true leader looks like, one that never leaves someone disadvantaged behind. 👏😎🥰🙌🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿 🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿🌿
