It is always, always worth it to schedule extended family sessions. Can they be a bit stressful or hard to coordinate? Of course, but seriously, what isn't these days. Multi-generational images are so priceless and special, the laughter and love is so important to share and capture.

Loved this brief little evening spent with this lovely family. I've been capturing them for years and years, and this session at Grandma's house is a favorite! Enjoy!

So many gorgeous gifts under the tree this year for this sweet family!!!!

OK, clearly, I overestimated my ability to respond to messages prior to Xmas Travel and craziness. My Love Stories project is ON, and I heard from so many of you. I am responding today and tomorrow with my thoughts on the project, session fees, logistics, so stay tuned!

And now, enjoy this house, filled to the brim with love and sweet furry friends!

Soooo, I sort of missed wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. The bomb cyclone cold mess made our travel plans super hectic, then the scramble to put together a holiday party took over, then all the Christmas goodness (and food). I leaned in HARD to a few days off. It was glorious. I'm back-ish for a bit, catching up on emails, then taking off for another long weekend.

This year was an insane success for my little business. I am so lucky that my family tolerates my schedule and my brand of busy. They help, they hug, and they pick up the slack, ESPECIALLY my fellow dreamer husband.

This year, I am going to be striving to work smarter so I can spend more time with these faces.

Big changes are coming, can't wait to share. But, for now, I'm in full chill mode. I truly hope you are, too. Take that break, eat that cookie, wear that hoodie one more day, and put those feet on up. Breathe in and out.

The cutest little mountain man. So, for our first session, we got caught in the rain. Our second, I got stuck on the highway in accident traffic for an hour. The Third time was the absolute charm!!!! Love this Xmas Tree Farm goodness.

Thankful for this family!!!! This image tell such a beautiful story, in love with the tones, the smiles. They genuinely enjoy each other, it's such a lovely privilege to capture.
