If you need your car washed come out to Herndon Lodge at 820 Elden Street tomorrow Saturday February 20th from 9:30 am to 1pm. Herndon DeMolay 501 C 3 so your donation is tax deductible. Also you will help keep a 12-21 year young man from disappearing into their couch, at least for a few hours.

Then we had our inaugural Basketball game before the Sweetheart Ball between Herndon and Ashbur Chapter. A lot of fun renting out the full court at the Herndon Community Center. Although Ashbur dominated the opening of the 2nd half Herndon was victorious winning bragging rights and all the letters their name. Thanks Dad Siaca Bey for the pix.

Yesterday was a DeMolay filled Saturday. For those who couldn't attend the Wreaths Across America clean up. It was a high of 15 degrees. Thanks to the Fehrle Family for being this event to our attention back in 08. As we observe Patriots Day (an Obligatory Day, held on a day in February, and focuses on the 7th precept: Patriotism.) Let us never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice and that good citizenship is the opportunity to display your patriotism.

Solid meeting. Quick highlights: Martín did and excellent job for his first meeting as MC. We read a new petition for membership. Tonight 3 brothers did their 1st proficiency. Congrats to Dean, Per Anhk and Raymond. Prepping for the initiation Sunday. Also the Chev Dinner November 8, 5pm at Gordon Beirsch in Tysons.

Cars need a 6th Preceptor too. Car Wash? Yep CAR WASH! Today at Hernodn lodge from 10 to when demand drops. Come out and support Herndon DeMolay. Tell a friend, tell a stranger, tell a stranger's friend. Hopefully we will see you there.

This past Thursday night we initiated 4 new brothers into the Chapter. Special thanks goes out to our Regional MC Bobby Chaney Deputy Regional MC David Busey and all the members of Ashburn that made it possible. Also to Dad Chris Pendleton for making is Facebook famous, his picture was/is the profile picture for the International DeMolay Facebook site.

Great attendance at the meeting tonight! Great fellowship. 4 PSMCs 9 PMCs over 150 worth of Senior DeMolays 3 PDGM and 1 MWGM were in attendance. Thanks to Ashburn's Gabriel Sewell, David Busey, and Dad Chris Pendleton for assisting. Also a very special that Sam Skillman for is talk about West Point, military service, and his time in DeMolay.

The lawn got mowed. We opened the meeting and voted on a petition. Also Martín did a great job stepping up to MC.

Thanks to everyone for making tonight's meeting a success. It was great to have brothers that we haven't seen in a while attend. Special thanks to our brothers from Ashburn for visiting and a very special thank you to Ryan Pendleton for landscaping assistance.
