We had so much fun at holiday on the farm! Sharing in case others are debating about going!
Giving back to the community is one of my mission this year! We are so delighted to donate $1,000 to Frying Pan Farm Park on behalf of the Mrs. DC-America Send Off Charity Gala. Thank you all so much for the endless support and generosity to have made my mission possible. I grew up working as a rice farmer so I’ve always loved being able to see healthy animals and open farm fields in the city - It truly brightens my day. Stay tuned for our fall events taking place at Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park https://youtu.be/qhl0VKFgXWQ
🥇 In all her glory! Iris won the 2022 NASCOW sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park this past Friday, Nov. 4. Iris is an Angus/Hereford cross born on Easter in 2021. Proceeds from the event will help feed the animals, build new fences, and improve the game bird enclosure at the farm. https://bit.ly/3sXq4zR

🐄 We like to 'moo it,' 'moo it'! Frying Pan Farm Park hosted the 2022 NASCOW Race today, Friday, November 4. This unusual event, sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park had six of the park’s cows 'moooving' against each other in a not-so-speedy race to the finish line. Watch the video from the race today! https://bit.ly/3sXq4zR

Here at The Halloween House, we are huge farm animals fans! You can probably tell by all of the skeleton and concrete animals that are constantly on display throughout the year in our yard. So today, we’re asking you to please consider donating to Frying Pan Farm Park’s NASCOW charity event next week. You can find all of the details below. Having this farm in our town is truly a blessing. It’s a great place to visit and the funds needed to run the farm are great.

NASCOW IS BACK! NASCOW started in 2020 during the pandemic but was so popular folks asked to make it an annual event. Please help Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park again this year to raise essential funds by sponsoring a cow in their third annual, NASCOW Fundrace.

NASCOW is a real race with actual COWS! It takes place Friday November 4, 9 am at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon VA. While spaces last, donors at the $50 and up levels can choose to come see the race live. One lucky $500 and up donor will serve as the official race starter. The race will be video taped for all who can't see it live.

Please be a NASCOW sponsor today! Every dollar makes a difference.
Hadn't heard of this before today. Is it something that was done by the folks who used to live on the farm?

Congratulations to our employees in residence - Lyle and Daisy the barn cats! They have been nominated as employees of the year for their dedicated work, keeping the mice under control.
Since the day they were adopted by the farm, Lyle and Daisy have enjoyed a lifestyle suited to their personalities. They have freedom to roam, and lots of fans who adore them. The farmers care for the cats, just as they do for the other farm animals – with a careful diet, four season shelter, vet visits, and vaccines. We love you, Lyle and Daisy!!
