I'm trying out a new treatment called Cavadex for peripheral and central artherosclerosis (ASVD). Arterial atherosclerosis is by far the most common cause of coronary heart disease, dementia from cerebral vascular disease, erectile dysfunction in geriatric men and many other consequences of vascular degeneration that happens to nearly ALL of us as we age--including myself. Cavadex is not cheap. I bought the aggressive package. Over the next 3 months I will report here on my page about the results that I experience.

These individuals consistently expressed genuine concern and interest in their patient’s well-being and exhibited compassion, empathy and patience. While these qualities should be commonplace, all too often they are not. Unfortunately, many doctors and other medical professionals were dismissive of our client’s medical concerns leaving them feeling frustrated and disappointed. We want to thank those on our list for embodying the qualities that every person wants and deserves in a medical professional.

Goals of Care, PLLC is open in Herndon, Virginia. I'm an internist and geriatrician, the sole proprietor. I've been in practice in multiple locations over the last 30 years and recently opened this new office inside of My Doctor's Pharmacy at 492 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. (We are separate corporations.) I accept medicare and most major insurance and for uninsured, cash or credit card. My medical assistant is Sandra McGuire, who has over 20 years of experience. I am able to provide state-of-the-art telemedicine and I do make house calls to homes and facilities. This is a veteran owned business.

My approach to healthcare is based upon holistic principles derived from Ayurvedic pillars: healthy diet, regular exercise, sleep hygiene, sexual health and psycho-emotional health (relationship with self, with others and with our planet). At my location, I'm able to collaborate with nutritionists, an herbalist and have a practice relationship with providers of home health assistance, occupational and physical therapy, speech therapy and chiropractic care.

Typically a first appointment with me runs from 60 to 120 minutes. As our doctor-patient relationship develops, it becomes possible to handle some agenda by video-teleconferencing. I'm a strong advocate for vaccinations and I strive to help patients achieve the healthy goals advanced by conventional resources such as the CDC, NIH, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and American Geriatrics Society.

I have also trained extensively in psychoanalytic psychotherapy employing a process group model. I offer this service on a limited basis to patients who are able to commit to such work.

Please note that I do not practice pediatrics or obstetrics and I do not perform any surgeries or trauma care in my office. Also please note that house calls are never appropriate for emergencies or even most urgencies.
