Huge shout out to the Chantilly Fairfax County Public Library for kicking off the Summer Reading Program at Oak Hill! Our wolves love reading! 🐺📚

Did you know that Virginia is home to over 90 species of endangered animals? From giant whales to tiny spiders, local animals need our help to survive. Help save area wildlife by creating healthy habitats, planting natives, and protecting our waterways.

Today's Earth Week theme is “Climate Change Day”.
Climate change is a complex problem but everyone can make small changes that make a big difference: conserve energy and water, reduce waste, and use the car less.

Today is “Zero Waste Wednesday!”
Fairfax County Public Schools has a goal to divert 90% of all waste by 2030. What are some zero waste swaps you could make in your life?

Today is Earth Day! We are excited to stretch the celebration through the whole week. What can you do to make a difference in the well-being of the planet?

We are kicking off our FCPS Earth Week with “Watershed Day!”

What can you do to conserve or protect water today?

Earth Week is coming to FCPS! We have prepared some fabulous activities for staff and students to engage with environmental awareness in both their schools and their communities, plus spirit days! How will you celebrate Earth Week?
