We have an incredibly exciting event coming up THIS SATURDAY with Black Tulip Press. This market brings together literature, music, art, and local craft in a relaxed brewery setting for an afternoon celebrating Memphis’s creative community.

Saturday, March 14
11-6pm
at Flyway

Guests are invited to browse books, artwork, and handmade goods from a small group of local vendors while enjoying Flyway’s craft beer and kitchen offerings. Black Tulip Press will present a large, carefully curated display of used, rare, signed, and literary titles.

The afternoon will also feature a series of live stage readings and performances.
12:30- reading by Bill Butler
2:00- the Memphis Symphony Orchestra’s String Quartet A will perform a live chamber music set inside the brewery.
4:00- Corey Mesler will read
4:45- reading from Chris McClain Johnson
5:30- reading by David Wesley Williams

Featured vendors for the market include Black Tulip Press, Colleen Couch, David Tankersley, Bezel and Bone, Earth and Edgy, and L.K Aldrich.

It’s a beautiful day for the Metal Museum artists market. Great view and free toasted marshmallows! Here til 4pm.

I’ll be at the Metal Museum tomorrow from 11-4 for their annual artists market. Weather should be nice. If you’ve never been, you should take a couple hours to browse the market, the museum and the grounds. I promise, it’ll be worth the trip.
