Something I get asked often is, “What sets your business out from the other talented Southern Women in your community?”

Well, the simple answer is nothing. We ARE a community here in Desoto County. We support one another, we buy from small businesses, we refer out to one another. The raw truth is, I never looked into selling my creations to other people because I will never think what I make is good enough. However I thoroughly enjoy seeing the stuff that I worked hard on in a store shop, a friends home, or in pictures! It’s very rewarding and puts a huge smile on my face all the time!

I started out like many others. In 2017, I was preparing to get married to my best friend. Of course like so many other women I wanted lots and lots of signs to personalize the big day! But no way was I pay $175 plus shipping costs. So I jumped on Pinterest and learned to DIY it. You should have seen me using my HAND SAW and chalk to trace out letters 🤦🏼‍♀️ just one sign would take days to make! But the repetition of it had me learning calligraphy at my own style. I’m still not as good as I’d like to be but it’s so much fun creating each creation. I asked God to put me on a path where I could help others and do something I enjoy while still speaking his words to the world. Man, did he ever deliver!!! Fast forward to 2023. I work full-time as an Ophthalmic Technician, assisting the Ophthalmology community in treating Retinal Diseases. On top of that, coming home and being able to customize decor to fulfill the needs of someone’s home or space. We have exciting new things coming to Faithfully Yours Scripture Designs!!! I have started doing some laser designs (and no I’m not great at it yet😂), more home decor besides signs, furniture pieces, and of course letter cutouts for those walls!!
