The November meeting of the Jefferson County Firefighters Association will be held on Thursday, November 9 at the Herculaneum Fire Department.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.

The Jefferson County Firefighters Association and the Jeffco Fire Engine Rally Committee thank the members of the Shekinah Masonic Lodge #256 (Crystal City), the Joachim Masonic Lodge #164 (Hillsboro) and the DeSoto Masonic Lodge #119 for providing their MoCHIP program at the recent 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally on September 30, 2023.
All three lodges have been in attendance with the child identification program for the past several years.

The air rescue helicopters are always a great attraction for those in attendance.

The Jefferson County Firefighters Association and Jeffco Fire Engine Rally thank the Rock Community Fire Protection District for their assistance with the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally on September 30, 2023.
Once again this rally, the Rock Community personnel had their fire safety trailer available for the children to learn how to safely escape a residential fire and other fire safety information.

Firefighters from Crystal City participated in the side-by-side sprinklered vs. non-sprinklered demonstration.
Crystal City Fire Department also set up the children's firefighter challenge and raised the US flag over the stage area.

The Jefferson County Firefighters Association thanks everyone who attended the rally in spite of the heat.
Thank you to the participating fire departments and ambulance districts, the various vendors, the volunteers who helped with the children activities, the volunteers who did the face paintings and the magic shows and balloon art, the firefighters presenting the demonstrations, the volunteers who helped with the set up and tear down of the rally, the volunteers who sold shirts and raffle tickets and those who participated in the opening ceremony.
Let's make it to the 30th Jeffco Fire Engine Rally next fall on Saturday, September 28, 2024!

The 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally is tomorrow Saturday, September 30.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TOMORROW (Friday, September 29) AS WE SET UP FOR THE 29th ANNUAL JEFFCO FIRE ENGINE RALLY!!
If you are available and can help with the set up, please be at the rally location (776 Joachim Avenue in Herculaneum) at 9:00 am.
The work that needs to be completed includes:
1. Moving tables and chairs to vendor locations
2. Set up the stage area
3. Set out trash cans
4. Run caution tape along street barricades
5. Set up children firefighter challenge area
6. Other miscellaneous items
Hope you can come out and help! If we get enough help, the set up can be completed by 1:00 pm.

It's time for the 29th Jeffco Fire Engine Rally!!! This Saturday, September 30 in Herculaneum City Park.
A couple of vendor spaces are available if anyone is interested in setting up this Saturday. If so, please call 314 852-4964.
Departments and individuals can still participate in the apparatus parade beginning at 9:00 am.

All Jefferson County Firefighters Association members!!
Help is needed on the morning of Friday, September 29, with the set up for the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally. Set up begins at the Herculaneum City Park, 776 Joachim Avenue at 9:00 am and continues to about 1:00 pm.
Set up includes setting chairs and tables under the tents, numbering vendor spaces, preparing the stage, setting out trash cans, etc.
The more help we have, the quicker we finish!
Help will also be needed on Saturday, September 30 after the rally. The work will include reversing everything from Friday plus emptying trash.
Hopefully, several of you firefighters will be able to assist on one or both days!
Let's help make the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally a success once again this year.

Program includes an In Memoriam page, the history of the Jefferson County Firefighters Association, the history of the Jeffco Fire Engine Rally, past award winners and apparatus winners, a list of past Jeffco Fire Engine Rally Grand Marshals and Junior Grand Marshals, biographies of the 2023 Grand Marshal and Junior Grand Marshal and program ads of our sponsors.
Be sure to pick up your copy from the command booth and stage area.
Also available at the command booth will be the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally commemorative shirts and two raffle items – a fiefighting painting and a 30-ounce firefighter tumbler.

Are you a collector of fire department patches? Do you collect fire apparatus models? Do you collect firefighter toys? Do you collect firefighting memorabilia? Do you collect old equipment?
If so, there will be different vendors at the rally selling patches, firefighter toys, books, firefighter memorabilia, old equipment, etc.!
Do you have these types of items to trade or sell? If so, how about setting up a vendor booth?
Vendor spaces are available for $25.00. Vendor space is covered and includes two chairs and one table.

The June meeting of the Jefferson County Firefighters Association will be held on Thursday, June 8 at the Festus Fire Department, 212 N. Mill Street, Festus.
The meeting will begin at 7:00 pm.
This will be the final meeting for the summer. Next meeting will be held on September 14 in Herculaneum.

Are there any fire departments/districts out there that would like to present a fire or rescue demonstration at this year's Jeffco Fire Engine Rally? This year's rally will be held on Saturday, September 30 in Herculaneum, Missouri.
Maybe a specialty of your department/district that you would like to show the public.
Your department/district does not have to be a member of the Jefferson County Firefighters Association to participate.

Only four months away! On Saturday, September 30, 2023, the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally will take place in Herculaneum, MO.
The rally begins with a parade of emergency apparatus (9:00 am) and then an opening ceremony at 10:00 am. The rally ends at 3:00 pm.

Do you or do you know someone who owns an antique fire truck?
If so, how about bringing the rig to the 29th Annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally in Herculaneum, MO on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
There will be a parade of fire and EMS vehicles from Crystal City/Festus (beginning at St. Pius X High School) at 9:00 am.
The vehicles will be on display at the rally site in Herculaneum until 3:00 pm.
Apparatus award plaques will be awarded in 14 different categories as listed on the registration form.
