Following almost 500 of your fellow Helena citizens showing up in support of Helena’s resolution to keep your local taxpayer dollars out of federal immigration enforcement, your city commission is now considering repealing your citizen-led resolution.

Last week, the Helena city commission claimed that their outside counsel recommended that they repeal your citizen-led resolution. This is as attorneys throughout Helena have read Knudsen’s information request, which only states issues with sections 2 and 3 of the resolution and which can be easily amended by the city commission. Join your fellow Helenans at the Helena Civic Center on Thursday, March 26th to demand that the city commission upholds the resolution and represents you as a voter and taxpayer.
