Attention Local Hop Growers!!!
Please bring your freshly picked hops in to Lewis and Clark Brewing Company NOW THRU WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th so we can brew our annual batch of Neighborhood IPA.

Be a part of this annual brew and bring your freshly picked hop cones either in paper bags or plastic bags NOT tied shut (they need to breathe!). Hop donators will receive beer tokens and discounts on this special beer while it lasts. Don't have hops? We also need pickers to pick in our hop garden at the brewery! Beer tokens for your work!

Already are getting donations and the hops look amazing! Thank you!!

Just a heads up, an order has been placed for Cascade rhizomes which should be here in the next couple of days. They will be $3.00 each during the Annual Local Hop Heads meeting at the Lewis and Clark Brewing Company (Date to be announced.....soon!)

Let's talk aphid control!!! Planting clover around your hops attracts ladybugs and we all know what they eat. APHIDS!! Lets keep these hops organic!!

Friends, the harvest turned out great! Thanks for all of the help. We had approximately 50 to 55lbs of freshly grown Helena hops to use this year in the Neighborhood IPA, which is about double what we had last year. you guys all rock! See you in the Tap Room in a few more weeks. We'll raise a pint in celebration. Cheers! -John

Hey everyone, this years' LOCAL HOP HEADS meeting will be on Wednesday, May 5th (CINCO DE MAYO!) at the Lewis & Clark Tap Room in Helena, Montana at 6pm. I've got 150 Cascade rhizomes on sale for 3 bucks each. Spread the word! -John McLellan

Hey Hop Heads! Cascade Hop Rhizomes have been ordered and should be here the end of April. Stay tuned for a Hop Head meeting the first week of May with John so we can distribute and discuss hops! There is a sign up sheet at the Lewis & Clark Brewery to reserve yours. When they are gone, they are gone for the season. $3 each rhizome (our cost).
