Located in Hayesville, NC. Interim Pastors Jason & Charity Henshaw. We are working on updating our socials so keep an eye out!
Join us Sundays at 11am as we meet together for church!

ππ
So many things from Pastor Jason's message today that are resonating in my heart. This picture quote is the simplest way to sum it up.
Looking forward to the next couple weeks of messages themed around Healthy, Godly, families.
A church is only as healthy as its families. Challenge us Lord!

Decisions. There are times we just feel overwhelmed trying to figure out what decision to make. The Bible tells us that all we have to do is seek God's will for us and He will show us which way to go. Sometimes, it's quick, sometimes, we wait. Either way, we KNOW God's Word is true and will not return void. If He says He will lead us, then He will. Be patient. Stay in prayer and choose His path today!

π’π’
I shared this on my personal page and thought it would be a great reminder to The Body of Christ!
***
Change is necessary for growth. Spiritually, mentally, and even physically. When we get too comfortable, we get stuck; in all areas. September is one of those months where we change seasons. Maybe we should take a moment and look at ourselves and see what needs changed in us. God might have a New Season ready, but we need to be willing!
π’ππ’
Who is HE to you?
Psalm 18:2 says, "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
He is SO many things; more than we can name, really. Today, what are you facing? Who is He to you right now in this moment? Call on His Name and be assured that today, right now, HE is closer than the air you breathe!

ππ
It is SO important to stay in The Word and pray daily. How will you know what God wants for you if you don't speak with Him? And it is so much easier for the enemy to creep in if we haven't spent time with God. Stay in The Word and Seek His face, always. Be ready at all times. We fight not against flesh and blood!!!

π±π±
It's Monday! We had a great service yesterday, and we believe God began to do some great things. Today, the enemy will try and get you to forget them, convince you nothing happened, tell you your not good enough to receive blessings, tell you your too busy for Jesus time...and well you get the idea. Now is the time to recognize this is how we grow in Christ! It's Monday and there is no corporate songs or a preacher standing up in front of you to feed you. There's no hand shaking and smiles and group prayer. Maybe there's small group or mentors, but it all starts with you. Today, its you and Jesus. You now make the decision to grow in your walk by continuing what God started, or you sit idle and begin to wither. You decide to dig in or "press in" to The Word, prayer and quiet time with Jesus. Today, it's your choice. What will you choose? If you need help, reach out! If you need prayer, reach out. That's all part of growth too! Just do something. Your relationship with Christ is the MOST important thing you have, don't let it wither! We are all in this together!
π₯π₯π₯ππ
Woo! What a day in The House! Powerful & challenging message. Amazing altar time where we pressed in and allowed God to move in us. Help us Lord to keep the momentum all week & after!!
π₯ Something great can happen when God's people come together. Are you expecting an outpouring? Are you praying for the service tomorrow? We can't just show up and expect change. We need to be ready for the change. We need to be willing to allow God to move us from the inside out so the change can take place. Take us higher Lord. Change us God. We need to be willing to FULLY surrender to ALL that He has for us! Maybe you haven't done that before, or maybe it's just been awhile. Why not now? What if tomorrow, God wants to do great things in The Body of Christ and He wants you to be the first to move? What if you are the spark He will use? Are you ready? Are you willing? Now is the time.....
11am service tomorrow! This is YOUR invite. Come expecting!

Saved by the grace of God. Redeemed by His blood. There is NO ONE like Him!
π’Amazing night for handing out school supplies and meeting some new faces. Thank you to ALL who came to help and made it possible. God is on the move!!
π’MONDAY MOTIVATIONπ’
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
"3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.
4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
There is a war raging around us every day. Sometimes, we see it, sometimes we don't. The truth is, it never stops. We have to be ready at all times. The enemy will use anyone and anything he can to derail us. One of his common moves is to pit believers against one another. How? He convinces them they are hearing from God, when in reality, they are getting caught up in the flesh. It happens. So, how do we combat this?
~Pray every day, just like Paul, that God would help us to crucify our flesh.
~Line everything "we hear' up with The Word of God.
~Take a self evaluation and see how much of what we are "hearing from God" is actually what WE just want to hear. π³ ( Hey, we are flesh, it happens)
~Seek Godly counsel.
~Fight in The Spirit...not in the flesh.
The scripture passage tells us we fight with divine power and can take every thought captive. But! We have to be willing to do it. We cannot sit idle while there is a spiritual war raging on and we can't fight spiritual battles in the flesh! The enemy wants nothing more than to divide our homes, our churches, our jobs, you name it. Keep the focus on Jesus and what He wants. For a church: What can we do to build His Kingdom, not a country club? How can we reach the lost where they are and not expect them to come to us? For us at home: How can we do devotions as a family in a busy world? How can I speak to my kids where they will listen? Those are just to name a few.
God wants so much for us, and the enemy wants to destroy it all. Stand firm, stay in The Word, be teachable, and walk in The Spirit! We are in a fight. We know we win. Let's take as many with us to the winning side that we can!!

THIS WEDNESDAY!!
Supplies for all ages! Food, and fun for the entire family!! Come on out!

Challenging message from Pastor Jason this morning! We have heard so many times that we are salt and light. What are we going to do with it? Go! Be an "agent of change" and share The Love of Jesus with EVERYONE you come into contact with each and every day.

ππ₯
The Holy of holies is accessible to us because of Jesus' sacrifice. When the curtain tore, everything changed!
The Spirit lives within us and we are His Temple. We have access to God The Father through His Son at any time. If we are His child, everywhere we are, He is. No more animal sacrifices, no more carrying physical tents and temple pieces. It's us! HE LIVES IN US! One of MANY reasons to give Him praise!

God always has the final say. I have seen so many scenarios in my life where man followed their own heart. Actually, sometimes it worked for awhile. But in time, it crumbled. Why? Because it wasn't God's perfect plan. It wasn't obedience. It was led by the flesh. Oh, in due time, God's plan prevailed, but not without a lot of frustration and pain on the flesh side. I have experienced it personally. I have followed the flesh and not God. So much heartache and destruction we can avoid by just doing what God says. As this verse says, His purpose WILL prevail. Let's try and follow His path the first time! God's way in ALL things. We don't have to like the path to walk the path!! God's grace will get us through.

Thank you for supporting the kids in our community!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:

Great words of Wisdom from God's Word today! There are often times these are hard to do, but with God, ALL things are possible! π Call on Him to be your strength today and every day!

We will be collecting school supplies from now until Wednesday, August 17th. This year, we are having a Back to School Bash and will hand out the supplies on the final night. The theme is "Facing your Giants" and it will be Monday, August 22 through Wednesday, August 24th: 6:30-8pm each night.
We have attached a picture of the lists for the Elementary and Middle schools. We are only collecting supplies, no backpacks or large items. Please place all donations in the foyer. More info will be coming soon, but feel free to reach out to Pastor Charity with any questions.
We are looking forward to this great opportunity in reaching our community!

π
Galatians 5:13
"For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another."
As Pastor Jason preached a few weeks ago, when we surrender our lives to God, we are called to be free! No more bo***ge, no more chains. Now, what do we do with that freedom? Share it with the world! Tell others of how Jesus set you free. Time is ticking.....
π¬π¬Personal Reflection from PC. This reflects PJ's sermon yesterday and I thought someone else may need reminded today.
"I am realizing more and more each day that I have to keep my focus on WHO Jesus is and not WHAT He can do for me. If I rejoice more in the what, than I do Who, I really begin to lose focus. Yes, He's a miracle working, gift giving God,(He IS many things) but, I want to believe, that if I never received another gift or healing on this earth, loving Him because He first loved me would be enough!"
Like PJ said in His sermon yesterday, we need to be about The Father's business. It's kinda hard to do that if all we do is focus on ourselves and our needs and wants. If WHAT we are praying for becomes more important to us than WHO we are praying to, we need to check our priorities; and our heart. It's tough, but necessary, if we want to grow in our relationship with Him!
Today's challenge: Give God praise and thank Him for WHO He is and what He has already done BEFORE bringing our needs to Him. Focus on WHO He is, not just what He can do.
βͺοΈLook back.
βͺοΈLook forward.
βͺοΈLook within.
Sometimes, we need to stop; and be reminded. Great time of communion today!

β¬οΈβ¬οΈ
Even when we can't see through the hard waves and rain, God is there. Here are some things we can hold tight to:
~God's light will lead us through.
~The pain may come, but the Joy of The Lord will outlast it all.
~In the calm and in the storm, Jesus remains the same!

π
The enemy moves in many ways. Be ready at ALL times!

π
Patience. It's a word we hear a lot.
Sometimes, it depends on the situation. Sometimes, we struggle with it no matter what.
What is God saying to you through this verse right now? Is there something you are constantly going to God about and maybe He is reminding you to be patient? Is there a situation in your home, job, church, where you know you need to slow down, and show patience? Wherever you find yourself today, we can all be reminded that being still before The Lord will work out way better than our rushing anything. His time, His way. Even the right thing at the wrong time can become the wrong thing! Be patient. Let God lead.

π
Jesus never fails. Always trust in Him.

π
Even when you can't see the outcome, keep walking. Knowing your walking with your faith in Jesus, is worth more than anything you could ever see with your own eyes!

π’π’π’π’
We are ready to roll! All Wednesday classes will be meeting tonight at 6:30pm.

Hebrews 1:1

Sometimes in life, we get busy and our priorities begin to shift. If God isn't first, the road is going to get a lot bumper and more frustrating! Keep Him first in ALL things. When you do, everything else will fall into place.

Sometimes you have those days. Computers don't work, mics won't stay up on the stand, sound just isn't blending well; and you keep going anyway! God still does His thing and hearts are still touched. What a great evening we had for getting refreshed and refocusing on Jesus! Thank you Lord for your presence!
Yes! We will have service tonight, 6:30-7:30.
Note the change: Youth and adults will be meeting together upstairs. Kids will meet downstairs first, then head outside. (Weather permitting). God is ready to do something, we need to be ready for it!! If you can make it, we will see you tonight.

This is something God showed me three years ago and I think it is a great reminder for all of us, so I thought I would share it here. Originally from July 2019. (Pastor Charity)

Jesus ever use a dirty old building to speak to you?
"He restores my soul...."
Psalm 23:3
We are on a quick getaway this weekend in TN and this morning I took a short walk back behind our motel. I spotted this old building and so many thoughts went through my mind. Who built it? What conferences were held here? Why is it being let go to the ruins of nature?
Then I thought: I wonder if anyone would ever restore it? It will have to keep sitting and waiting until then.
I'm so glad that when we get run down and broken we don't have to wait. When we feel like we are falling apart we don't have to just hope that a carpenter will come and put the pieces back together. He restores my soul! In an instant we can call on the Name of Jesus and the broken will be made whole, the run down will be restored, and the lonely and forgotten will be reminded they are loved by God who sees them.
This building may never see a restoration, but today, you can be restored; you can be made whole. Jesus takes what's broken and makes it beautiful! π

We have a lot of things happening in our church family right now. Sickness, spiritual attacks, the enemy playing mind games and more! God is stirring up the ground and of course the enemy is getting scared. He's on alert now and he's trying to throw out distractions.
Would you take time today and do as this picture says.
1. Pray Boldly: Call out scriptures when you pray, call out the enemy for the liar he is, rebuke all negativity.
2. Pray Specifically: Pray for people by name who you know need a healing whether spiritually, physically, mentally, financially and so on. Pray specifically for your church family, call out the name of the church. Pray for your church leaders specifically by name. Pray for needs specifically if you know of any.
3. Pray Expectantly: When you pray, don't just go through the motions to say you prayed. Believe that God is hearing you (He is!) and stand firm in your faith as you speak those prayers. Believe He will answer in His way and in His time. Pray, knowing you already have the victory!
In Jesus' Name!
