MAG, a native of New York, honed his craft of painting/sculpting/sketching in the cultural chaos of the 1970’s five boroughs (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island). These stomping grounds became his playgrounds where the subways, parks, rooftops, alleys, The Hudson River, and New Jersey’s Palisades provided him with inspiring fresh new canvases to develop his love for expression through his art.
"I absorbed it into my blood, hands and mind. It is like any other type of artist who submerses themselves with their craft... be it a guitarist, composer, pianist, or poet, it becomes a part of you and then you get to translate it to something tangible" -MAG
MAG decided to take a break from the creative life when his heart was called to serve our country. He enlisted in the Air Force where he served Stateside as well as Germany and Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield. He still has a deep love for our troops and has created some breathtaking art honoring those who have served and many that we have lost.
Upon his entering back into the civilian world, he picked up right where he left off. This time, his focus shifted to customizing wearable apparel. He started by creating items for friends and family. Before he knew it, his custom Chucks had caught the attention of the entertainment industry.
MAG has made Custom Apparel for some of the world's top celebrities and bands, including:
Tommy Lee and Nikki Si### from Motley Crue
Chad Szeliga, legendary rock drummer (Breaking Benjamin, Black label Society, Thin Lizzy)
Samuel L. Jackson
Kelly Clarkson
Nickelback
Joe Elliott from Def Leppard
Mira Sorvino, Academy Award Winner,
Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels and hit NYC radio host
Jackson Rathbone, actor
Peter Facinelli, actor
Will Smith
Rich Redmond, drummer for Jason Aldean
Richard Fortus and Dizzy Reed from Guns& Roses
Scott Stapp, lead singer of Creed
Chris "Birdman" Andersen, NBA
and many more!
It was all uphill from there. He has been commissioned by some of music royalty to create personalized works of art. His products have been featured in music videos, film, sci-fi circles, and national ad campaigns for music artist.
MAG’s business now includes an online boutique where everyone has access to create and purchase items personalized just for them. MAG takes great pride in giving his customers unique items they can treasure for a lifetime!
He also customizes computer cases, even vinyl toys!

Howling on the square! Gnarly Fingers...need I say more?

Barn cats need a home
Do you have a barn that needs some rodent control? There are cats that have had their rabies shots and are fixed (spayed or neutered), and they need a home. Pet them, give them food, water and a dry play to sleep and they will work for you to solve your rodent problem. Castoff Pet Rescue, 706-400-8612, is the number to call or 203-788-2038.
Do you need help to spay or neuter your pets? Operation PUP (Prevent Unwanted Pets) is here to help fix your cats and dogs so they don’t have puppies or kittens that have no place to go. As the above paragraph says, we already have too many stray cats that need homes.
Also call PUP before strays multiply. Spring will be here before we know it and stray cats and dogs will be mating. Female cats can get pregnant at 4 months old, get pregnant again while nursing, have up to eighteen kittens per year and litter mates can and “will” breed too (despite many myths). Spay by FOUR (months) before there are more. Spaying and neutering is the only way to get our severe pet homelessness crisis under control.
Call Operation PUP, 203-788-2038. The kindest way to end overpopulation is to spay and neuter your pets and stray animals that come into your yard. “Thank you for being “part of the solution”!
