An overdue update… but we made it 🤎
Hank Belle Journals has officially moved into its new home, and I’m still a little in disbelief. What started as just an idea has grown into something tangible that I get to show up for every day—in a space that finally feels like it fits.
There’s lots to come, more to share, and so much I’ve been working on. In the meantime, just know that we now offer wholesale — so shop owners feel free to email me, or you can find us on Faire, and there is a direct link to our Faire wholesale on our website 🤎

A note from behind the scenes.
Many of you know Hank Belle as a specialty leather journal line. What you may not know is that it’s always been made inside a growing leather workshop — one that’s been quietly growing over the years.
We’ve recently given that workshop a name: Anselma House
Anselma House is a heritage craft workshop.
Anselma House is where Hank Belle journals are made, alongside a few other small-batch leather lines that have naturally grown out of the same bench and tools.
Once a month, Anselma House will open its doors to the public for a short Open Workshop — a chance to step inside, see the work, and explore the goods in person.
Hank Belle will always remain what it’s been: journals made for writing what matters.
Anselma House is the place they come from.
We will be sharing details about our first Open Workshop day soon.

Big news to share 🤍
After years of building, growing, and maxing out every square inch of my home workshop, Hank Belle officially has a commercial address!
Welcome to Hank Belle:
📍9542 North Station St. | Hayden, Idaho📍
This space means more room to create, better workflow, and the ability to prepare inventory ahead of the busy seasons instead of playing constant catch-up. It also opens the door for some exciting things I’ve been working toward for a long time.
Nothing about the heart of this business changes — the work is still handmade, small batch, and rooted in craftsmanship — but this next step gives it room to grow the right way.
I’m incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported Hank Belle up to this point. This milestone wouldn’t exist without you.
More to come soon 🤍

For those that don’t know me... Hello! I’m Lanae. I’m the maker, designer, and owner of Hank Belle Journals. I started Hank Belle in January 2020 and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. In those 6 years, Hank Belle has grown. And grown. It has even grown physically out of every space it has ever operated out of — 3 times over the past 6 years. All those spaces were home-based workshops.
I have some exciting news I’ll be sharing next. Stay tuned 🤎

An everyday journal isn’t about filling pages.
It’s about making room.
For noticing.
For sorting.
For returning to yourself, one line at a time.

Not everything is meant to be rushed.
Some things are meant to be written slowly,
held in stillness, and returned to again and again.

Crafted for you.
Because some things should be something special.

Made to go where the work happens —
and to keep what happens there.

Some recipes are more than instructions.
They’re stories passed hand to hand, generation to generation.
Made to safe-keep them all.

Some things are still worth making slowly.
With intention. With care.
Built not for trends — but for time.
