Hope on the Prairie- Annual Prairie Run If we were going to run races why not do it in our own community? That is where the plan started.
Hope on the Prairie is what you get when you have a group of people with big hearts, deep roots, and a passion for running. We would host a small race on the prairie of our hometown of Hawk Point, MO to benefit a charity of our choosing. Our small dream of one race has turned into a annual event and we are excited that each year it continues to grow! Since 2013 we have helped support the American
With many thanks I would like to share what our amazing community has done. Our arms stretch far and wide.
Volunteers have spent countless hours helping to brainstorm, plan and act on all of our ideas. All money raised this year has been dispersed, and received. Our recipients have expressed such gratitude and thanks, with tears in the eyes of many. Together we have made an impact on so many.
With this we have been able to raise over $32,000 over the course of 8 races in our tiny little community.

So many individuals played a role in last night's success! Thank you to the volunteers, donors, participants and more!
Everyone's involvement makes our night what it is. The weather was perfect, the band was fantastic and everyone seemed to have a great evening!

Clarification of a few details. The Lincoln County Journal recently shared this ad.
-The race begins at 6, not 7.
-Our race benefits a few chosen charities that relate to community members. Details are on our event page.
-The Booster Club will be doing their drawing at our event. This money will go to the Booster Club.
