Pumpkin carving is a wonderful family activity, but there is no denying it is MESSY. 🎃

Tips for easy clean up:

▪️ Set up the pumpkin carving situation outside, preferably somewhere near a hose

▪️ Fold a plastic, one-time-use, tablecloth in half to use as your workstation

▪️ Put all pumpkin guts into a bucket or large bowl to easily discard.

▪️ After the pumpkins are carved, simply toss and clean the bucket/bowl and throw out the tablecloth.

Pro tip: If you are a pumpkin seed family, use an additional bowl to keep pumpkin seeds separated!

Having a last minute Halloween party sometime soon and are in a scramble? Here are some quick and easy family costumes:

🍁 Seasons: Have each family member pick a season and dress accordingly. Summer? Beach wrap, sunglasses, and flip-flops. Winter? Scarf, fuzzy socks, and earmuffs

Those weekday mornings can get a bit hectic in the bathroom! Having a clear organization system for your bathroom can keep things under control.

🫙 Jars: Keeping certain items organized in jars, on the sink, keeps them easy to reach and easy to put away. Consider having jars for things like: cotton swabs, toothbrushes, combs and hairbrushes.

🪴 Shelving: Avoid everyone having to shuffle around so that someone can open the cabinet or drawers by keeping things on shelves. If counter space is lacking, use the shelves to store your jars of items!

🗃️ Containers: Create a container under the sink for each family member. In the mornings, open the cabinet and allow each person to retrieve their container. This can house all of their necessary toiletries (toothbrush, floss, hairbrush, rubber bands, deodorant, and more). This gives everyone access to their things and is very easy to put away!
