***FIREWORKS***

With the 4th of July fast approaching we wanted to provide the rules allowing the use of fireworks.

Fireworks are allowed from 11 a.m. July 1st through July 5th. On July 5th, at 11:45 p.m. fireworks are no longer allowed to be set off within the Hastings City Limits.

Where: E/W Center St at S Jefferson St
When: Thursday, June 20th @ 09:00 am

DPS will be installing new stop signs at E and W Center St and S Jefferson St this Thursday morning. Currently the intersection requires drivers to stop on S Jefferson St while drivers on Center St are not required to stop. Due to limited visibility at this intersection, drivers will now be required to stop on Center St also, making this a 4-way stop. Please remain alert while driving through this area as it may take some getting used to!
