HERicanes Softball - DFW

HERicanes will be hosting an additional open practice in the near future. Date to be determined!

We are looking for experienced 8U players who have a solid softball IQ, positive attitude and desire to compete! Must be coachable and willing to work hard.

Maddie (Stephanie) started cheer camp with Eaton last week and has been having a blast learning new moves and making some new friends!

Congratulations to our 8U HERicanes for battling hard on the diamond yesterday! From sun up to sun down, the girls competed in the One-Day May Tournament in Weatherford and gave it their all, going 3 and 1 for the day.

Congratulations to Elyssa (Karla) for receiving the GOAT award from her coaches! Ely works so hard and has had such amazing growth this year. Everyone is so proud of her!

Also Congrats are in order for Keatyn (Amber) who was awarded MVP of the tourney! Kiki was chosen by the opposing team’s coaches after the championship game. Keek stays ready to play ball and make moves and we’re so proud!

That’s a wrap for this Spring season! Congrats to all our girls for bringing home some hardware 5 times this season! Thank you to all our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and supporters who show up and cheer for The HERicanes. We are so fortunate to have you in our corner!

Congratulations to Macy and Maddie for being awarded MVP medals in the DGSA Salsa Slammers tournament this last weekend!

Macy’s magic glove work and Maddie’s resiliency after a mid game injury made these girls stand out in our first two games. MVPs are voted on by the opposing team’s coaches in pool play games 💪🏻

Also, a big shout out to Harper for being awarded the Game Ball on Saturday!

Great job, girls! Keep it up!

📣🩷 Storm Warning: HERicanes are Champs! 🩵📣

Congratulations to our HERicane girls! They competed this weekend in the DGSA Salsa Slammers tournament in Grand Prairie. They went 0-2 in pool play but rallied in bracket, winning all 3 games to secure the gold in the Silver Bracket 💪🏻

So extremely proud of their efforts and their commitment to KEEP GOING!

Congrats to our MVP of the tournament, Harper Skinner! Her reliability at first base helped the team secure multiple outs during key points in the tournament. She swung a hot bat this weekend as well- she had a home run, a triple, several singles and several RBIs 🔥

Great job girls and GREAT JOB COACHES!

This week’s HERicanes PoTW is Lianna aka Wheels 🔥

Lianna’s swift feet and sure glove make her a defensive force to be reckoned with! She moves around the infield and always gives 100%!

She swings a hot bat, leading the team in Hits (60) and RBI’s (33) 💪🏻

Not only does Lianna battle on the softball field, but she’s also a fierce competitor in soccer!

Her most memorable softball moment is when she was playing second base and dove to field a ball to get the 3rd out and end the game (we won)!
