Well, I guess we should’ve cooked with gas instead of just chicken 🤭😂 but I am still in LOVVEEEEEE with our kitchen design!! From the windooowww to the ARCH!! 😂🥹🥰 it was a full TEAM EFFORT and we are sooo proud of it!! What’s your favorite part?

Talk about a basement glow up ✨Design meets function in our latest basement completion 📐 This major layout overhaul rebuilt from the studs up with structural plumbing moves, fresh walls & a massive closet space! This design also included other amazing finishes, including energy efficient windows, customizable, dimmer lighting and durable LVP flooring. It’s barely recognizable. 🔥 (after photos were taken before lighting installation)

I truly manifested THIS MOMENT my entire life!! 🥹🙌🏽This is Chess, NOT checkers!

& while I am so excited for you all to see this amazing project we worked so hard on! For years I’ve been “trying to go viral” and wondering why my videos never hit or got the attention that other women doing what I was doing when I was actually doing it for work and they would be sometimes doing it simply in their own homes and now that THIS MOMENT is finally here where the world 🌎 will now SEE ME, I am sooo nervous to see how they edit it all 🫠 none of you really know me and I feel like this will be my introduction to the world! If you know me you know I AM NOT even a bit of an open book but they got to see me very vulnerable 😓🫣 I'm worried about people seeing the relationship I have with my husband. (We’ve been together for almost 18 years!)

I'm self-conscious about looking inexperienced because I am self-taught! I'm nervous people won't like me. I'm nervous people won't understand or like my designs.

Next to childbirth, this was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. As much as I thought I knew what I was signing up for, l couldn't have fully understood what it would actually be like.

The pressure. The countless decisions that fell ON ME! 12-HOUR work days! The experience of the other contestants. The renovation restrictions (I didn’t give up without a fight!)

So however you feel about me after the series is over just know, this was only a glimpse into who I really am. I'm so thankful I got to do it with my husband , and being mentored by and also grateful for all the people I met along the way. 🫂

For everyone that has ever told me “I need my own show!” IT FINALLY HAPPENED! Well it’s not my OWN SHOW .. but I’m on HGTV 📺!! & if you know me you know this is a dream come true! 🥹🥰

Being mentored by one of my favorite designers was sooo unreal! Her dedication to ensuring I was heard and understood (even when I made up lingo 🫠😅) will always be appreciated 🫂 all the late nights and early morning and hours put into our house to make it a home was alllll worth it! Thank you Sarah!

To my amazing husband having you join me on this incredible journey was without a doubt NECESSARY because no one else would’ve given as much dedication as you did to a craft that they don’t have much training in! You kept showing up and kept doing your part! Thank you for all your amazing work and commitment to our home!
