Got a couple more gnomes done last week and have applied some Danish oil to them. Need to learn to make their faces a little happier. 😜
They all have a serious look about them. Also applied a few coats to the walnut pieces as well. Have a Mary done but still working on a Joseph.

I know I haven’t posted anything for a little while but it is planter season so gearing up for that! However I have been able to get a few more carvings from the 1x1’s of walnut.

Painting has begun. Going to take me most of the weekend to get these finished. Might have bitten off more than I can do.

Took advantage of all the cancellations due to weather that have taken place this week and did a Ddalo mushroom. (Actually a couple of them)
I think it turned out well. Starting to get quite a few carvings on my table to paint. Hopefully will be able to get to it this week.
That groundhog better not see his shadow either - ready for a little warmer sunshine!

As we settle in for the Snowmageddon that is going to hit us this weekend. Sitting around with all the refrigerator full of milk and eggs and the pantry full of bread and peanut M&M’s, it is a good time to let chips fly and get some carvings done! These are some already finished.
