Walk Run Race at Harrisburg Days 2023 The Walk Run Race at Harrisburg Days 2023 is on Saturday June 10, 2023. It includes the following events: 5K Fun Run, 1/2 Mile Kid's Run, and 1/2 Mile Community Walk.
DETOUR & PARKING NEWS
Current best way in is via CLIFF AVENUE and then turn on to FOUNDATION DRIVE.
Follow the Harrisburg Days Event Parking Signs and park in the Event Parking.
Walk/Warm-up on your way to the PICNIC SHELTER at Lake Ole.
See you at 8:00 AM!

9:00 am - 5K Fun Run (Columbia & Willow near Picnic Shelter)
9:40 am - 5K Overall Male & Female Awards (Lake Ole Picnic Shelter)
9:45 am - Community Walk (Lake Ole Picnic Shelter)
NOTES:
* Packet Pickup is only occurring Saturday morning. There will not be a Friday night pickup this year.
* Any other awards beyond overall 5K winners will be mailed out.

When I start seeing these around town, I get excited for one of my favorite events of the year! It's Walk Run Race at Harrisburg Days week everyone!

Wondering what the route will be this year? Here is
a link to the 5K route that goes through our amazing community. For those that have been Walk Run Racing with us for awhile, it is really similar to our 2012 and 2013 route!

Our Story
This race is a perfect blend of events! Run for Their Lives! and Walk Run Race have joined forces to create a casual and competitive event for a cause...or two! The event includes a 10K, a 5K run/walk, a 1 mile fun walk, and a kids 1 mile run.
All proceeds from the event will be split between Lach's Legacy to support the fight against SIDS and the Harrisburg Community Foundation to support a number community initiatives such as parks, ball fields, scholarships and on and on.
Prizes galore! Awards and prizes will be given for each age group, male and female, plus cash awards for the overall winner and the master's division champion for both the 5K and 10K. That's 60+ prizes and awards! Each participant will receive a goody bag and if you register early, you'll get a t-shirt too!
As part of the 2019 Harrisburg Days Community Celebration, we are holding our 11th Annual Walk Run Race event!
The Walking and Running event is going to be held on June 8, 2019.
