We are working with the Deen Family papers today and we wanted to share this photograph again. The photo was taken 27 July 1944 and the back reads: "Regina and me, and 'Pansy.'" They are standing in front of the Deen Loom and Rug Factory building which stood where St. Michael's Catholic Church is today. College Blvd is called that because the building was built originally for the Western Iowa Vocational College which opened in 1911 and closed in 1916.
