This week, Charlie Company got it done!

We excelled in our first PRT of 2026 and continued sharpening our discipline and precision in company drill. Huge shoutout to PTI MIDN 3/C Williams for leading a strong PRT session, and to MIDN 3/C Threatt for commanding drill with confidence and excellence.

Charlie Company got after it in the weight room today! PTI MIDN 3/C Williams pushed us through a challenging lower-body workout that had everyone locked in and giving their best. Strong energy, strong reps, and stronger midshipmen.

President Darrell K. Williams of Hampton University and President William G. Kelly of Christopher Newport University have signed an agreement for Christopher Newport University to officially become part of the Hampton Roads NROTC Consortium.

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Christopher Newport University as the newest school in Charlie Company, Hampton University Naval ROTC!

The Midshipmen of Charlie Company had an outstanding week. We started off strong with an informative Active Shooter training brief presented by Sgt. Erica Montemayor of the William & Mary Police Department.

On Wednesday morning, Charlie Company, along with BN PTI Bakermiller, conducted a strength training workout circuit in the weight room.

On Thursday morning, we had the privilege of learning about the power of the F-35 from LT Josh “BAM” Underdown. Later that afternoon, MIDN Howard, Threatt, Rice, Bailey, Williams, and Fenelon manned a table at Hampton University’s Annual Organization Bazaar.

Charlie Company’s NAVAL ROTC had an amazing time helping set up the Hampton vs. Elizabeth City alumni football game! We hosted a recruiting table, fans joined us in the push-up squad, and brought plenty of energy to the sidelines. We look forward to continuing this tradition at our next home game! Hooyah!!
