just a 5 to 9 to balance out my 9 to 5.

A while back whenever I would drive my old car, a 1920s Model T, my hands would turn black from the 90+ year old steering wheel deteriorating anytime it was even slightly wet. I set out to make myself a wooden replacement and have since made several as “practice”. I am now ready to start selling them, and this was the first sale! It’s Ash with a Purple Heart strip for a fun little flair. I’m still sorting the out the details on how I will sell them beyond locally, but feel free to contact me if you are in the market for a new steering wheel. This product might not have a universal appeal but I’m pretty proud of it nonetheless.

Another cutting board off to a customer. I would love to make more of these chevron patterns so hit me up. I’m always up to play on the shop. Maybe I’ll make myself something soon.

Workbench is starting to look like a workbench. Pretty happy with how this is turning out. It’s a heavy beast. Now for lots of sanding and finishing.

What do you do when you buy posters that are not a common size… well you make your first frame. I guess I can do custom framing now!

Fresh stack of walnut ready to be made into record stands, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, or anything you want for your gift giving. If you have something you want for a loved one, if I don’t know how to make it already I’m sure I can figure it out.

Made up a batch of three end grain cutting boards with some off-cuts I’ve been storing. Felt good to use up some wood, but also just made me want to make more. These are a mix of maple, cherry, and walnut. These are on their way to their forever homes but I’m willing to make more. Who needs a good quality hand made cutting board?

Update on the walnut river coffee table top. Finished cnc flattening and starting to sand. Lots of sanding to go but it’s starting to look pretty sweet. I gave it a quick mineral spirits wipe to show what it will eventually look like when finished. I’m pretty pumped about this so far. Need to sort out when to do about legs soon.
