A fresh approach to the law. At The Law Offices of Christopher Donlin, we provide one-on-one attenti
The Law Offices of Christopher Donlin is a Hamden based firm representing clients in both personal injury and probate matters in the New Haven County area.
Distracted driving and less enforcement of speeding and other infractions are the clear cause of the uptick. The landscape is further complicated by the high amount of people driving without insurance.
Roads are deadlier than ever. Figuring out why is complicated. Since the start of the pandemic, the number of people dying in traffic crashes in Connecticut has surged and shows no signs of slowing.
My son Noah gave us a textbook example of distracted driving today. While staring down a fellow driver as he sped by in his Lego car - he took his eye off the road for just a moment - and he caused a rear end collision.
Distracted driving cases are very common in my practice. I have represented countless victims of distracted driving - and am available any time to speak with you should you be involved in an accident.
Another great review from a recent case. Quick, high quality results are what we do at my office!
“I had an injury on 4/13/22 and called Mr Christopher Donlin and he immediately called my wife and I back and schedule to come to our house and discuss the case. He was there for us step by step and always check on us while the case was going. I personally feel very grateful to this firm. Very professional, punctual and courteous. 5 stars doesn’t do justice I would give it 1 million star if I could.”
David was a good friend and client. I will miss talking cars and politics with him. He was a good man.
Obituary: David E. Howell, 73, of Hamden David, a dear friend to many and a devoted husband, worked for the Veterans Hospital in West Haven prior to retirement.

2022 15-17 Donlin Law - a great group of kids off to a good start this year.
As I reflect back on this year, and the last 18 or so months of life that is unlike anything we could have ever contemplated, I think back on remote hearings, outdoor meetings, elbow taps and fist bumps, window meetings and zoom calls and I have to say that I have been blessed with great clients and partners. The resiliency, patience and grace shown by everyone who has come in contact with Donlin Law has been an inspiration.
As Connecticut faces another surge of Covid-19, our resiliency is again being tested. We will get there - and I know 2022 is going to be a better year and the character we have shown in 2021 will pay off with interest.
Thank you again to the people who allow me to do what I do and stay safe.
Please stay safe on the roads today. Everyone is trying to pick up their last minute items and may be less than focused on the road. Accidents occur on holidays too, especially with a little snow on the road. I am available 24/7 if you are involved in an accident. Please text 203 909 1719 for immediate assistance.
Check out the new promo for the office! It was a lot of fun to feel like a big TV star for a day - how did I do?

Happy 4th of July from Donlin Law!
A little over ten years ago, I met my friend Mike as a client. He called me after doing a google search - and I answered his call while at Wrigley Field watching a Cubs game. What started with representing him in a car accident has developed into a long lasting friendship. It is truly amazing that ten years later, we have shared so many good times, and a number of beers! Mike represents what I hope is the product of every new client relationship - that I add not just a client but a friend.

Great day for client meetings at the socially distant outdoor law office! Sanitized chairs, pens and masks to ensure that our clients feel safe and are protected.
In light of covid-19, I have implemented a few improvements relating to client meetings. Meetings at the office will occur outside at a large table set up to allow for social distancing. We are sanitizing the table and chairs after each meeting and of course, we are requiring masks.
I want everyone to be safe and comfortable. Rest assured I am doing everything I can to represent new and existing clients with the same personal touch that has been my standard since I opened in 2010.
As always, I am here for your injury and probate needs. Call or text for an appointment. (203) 909–1719.

This is a tough time for Connecticut and especially the Greater New Haven area. I want to open up a discussion of small businesses involving professionals that are in the area that are accepting new clients. Call it virtual networking, without the cheesy meetings.
If you think we can collaborate and help each other, let’s talk. If you are a small business looking to spread the word post it here. Whether you do printing, financial planning, landscaping or anything else, let’s help each other.
I will start. I am a personal injury and probate attorney. I handle car accidents for injured parties and I handle probate cases, specifically conservatorships, wills, estates and trusts. I have handled foreclosure work in the past as well.
What do you do? Who do you work with that is a good person to know? Feel free to tag and share. We have to keep moving in these tough times. Let’s help each other.
This is what we need right now. Local distillery, helping local breweries, to help local people.

Out of adversity comes opportunity. We all have to try to find the good in our world. A day time stroll is a great example. Stay safe out there.
Since moving to Hamden in 2005, Hamden has always been near to my heart. I love the personality of the town and the work ethic of its residents. It always has been community in the best sense of the word. As we endure tough times my heart hurts when I drive by my favorite places like Eli’s, Ray and Mikes, Glenwood and Cussano’s. We will get thru this and we will be eating hot dogs at Glenwood soon enough. Stay safe friends.
