As I reflect back on this year, and the last 18 or so months of life that is unlike anything we could have ever contemplated, I think back on remote hearings, outdoor meetings, elbow taps and fist bumps, window meetings and zoom calls and I have to say that I have been blessed with great clients and partners. The resiliency, patience and grace shown by everyone who has come in contact with Donlin Law has been an inspiration.

As Connecticut faces another surge of Covid-19, our resiliency is again being tested. We will get there - and I know 2022 is going to be a better year and the character we have shown in 2021 will pay off with interest.

In light of covid-19, I have implemented a few improvements relating to client meetings. Meetings at the office will occur outside at a large table set up to allow for social distancing. We are sanitizing the table and chairs after each meeting and of course, we are requiring masks.

Today I had another 40 sandwiches delivered to Hamden Shoprite. I appreciate the hard work of every person out there putting themselves in harms way to make sure we have what we need. Thank you Hamden Shoprite!!

Today we dropped off 40 sandwiches to the workers at Hamden Stop and Shop. This donation, like yesterday’s donation, was my way to acknowledge their hard work and sacrifice during this tough time. I received a great thank you call as well - which is always great to hear!

A special delivery to our friends at Hamden Walmart today. Beautifully made turkey, ham and pastrami sandwiches for some workers putting in extra effort during this tough time. Sandwiches are from Olmo, another local business and are being donated to say thank you to some of our workers on the front lines. More deliveries to come in Hamden!

Since moving to Hamden in 2005, Hamden has always been near to my heart. I love the personality of the town and the work ethic of its residents. It always has been community in the best sense of the word. As we endure tough times my heart hurts when I drive by my favorite places like Eli’s, Ray and Mikes, Glenwood and Cussano’s. We will get thru this and we will be eating hot dogs at Glenwood soon enough. Stay safe friends.
