Today is our last day of operations - thank you, Hallowell!

Almost 12 years ago, we set out to start Juiced. based on the core principle that healthy food should be an accessible and affordable option in the Central Maine area.

For 12 years, with the steadfast support of our community, our employees, our friends, and of course our customers, we have been able to deliver on that core principle, and have been delighted to do so. We are thankful to everyone who has helped us get the business to where it is.

We are especially thankful for our manager, Sarah, who has been a dedicated leader of our team for almost 10 years.

Today, due to factors related to the sale of our building and its rising rents, we have to announce our decision to close Juiced. on January 17th.

It isn’t a decision that we’re particularly excited to announce - we were hoping to sell the business and transition it to a new ownership group to continue this legacy of healthy options.

Juiced is closed due to the weather today, December 2nd

It’s that time of year - Juiced. is moving back to a Monday-Saturday schedule for the season and will be closed on Sundays (starting today, 10/26).

We’re excited to be the ONLY whole food, natural ingredient, juice and smoothie bar nominated under the Nutrition/Smoothie category. We don’t deal in powders, we deal in fruits and veggies - for us it’s a no-brainer! We would be ecstatic to earn your vote.

The ownership team at Juiced. is gettin’ old! We’ve had 11 great years (check out the Hoxter’s sign in the background of our Grand Opening photo) as we continue to serve THE healthy alternative in the Central Maine area.

This post is not to announce any kind of closure, we intend to stay open, but we are interested in finding out if there is interest in the community to take over ownership of this establishment. Must love health food! Must treat employees well! These are non-negotiable items.

We feel like there is significant value that could be added to this business, but we’ve come to the point where we would rather that come from someone with new energy and fresh ideas! We continue to love our Hallowell community, and are thankful for all who continue to choose Juiced. We’ve had a great spring and early-summer so far, and are excited for the upcoming things planned for the downtown, like TWO art walks, and OLD HALLOWELL DAY!
