Did this yesterday, the all over platinum was pretty, but we needed some dimension. So I added few lowlights to help break it up, did it light enough so it didn't take away from the platinum. Turned out so pretty! The last pic is the all over platinum for reference. 💇🏻‍♀️💖💇‍♂️

@salon_e started by babylighting all of her regrowth. “I did NOT put her ends in foils. Why not??
Because her ends weren't dark! They were just dull! This happens for many reasons such as hard water, well water, over using purple shampoo, product build up, etc. So, after babylighting, processing, rinsing and shampooing, I
opted to wet balayage her ends!
This technique is great to get that build up out, without over
processing or compromising the ends.”

“Typically I will mix lightener with 10-20 volume, at a 1:1 ratio.
Remember ‼️ this mixture is going on damp hair, so that will
dilute the lightener to begin with!
I usually process it for around 10 minutes, then shampoo, and tone!”

Happy Saturday everyone!! Did my mom's hair yesterday, she is wanting to start embracing her grey coming in and not color as much anymore. So, we started the process I did a foilyage to lighted up her old highlights and lowlights and in between I would add a few slices of some lowlights (she wanted to have dimension still.)
