Wolf Creek Park, Grove, OK - Professional Anglers call this park the No. 1 Fishing Facility in the Nation. Six boat ramps, tuning fork dock, mooring dock, handicap dock plus clean restrooms and picnic area,

The City of Grove is partnering with GRDA, ODOT and ODWC to construct a top of the line fishing facility. Phase 1 of the project is $3.6 million dollars and consists of construction of new parking, restroom facility, pavilion, 4 new boat ramps, and tuning fork style boat dock. A public meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at City Hall to receive public comments on a construction of a pedestrian multi-use trail from Wolf Creek Park to Grove Springs Park.

The traffic signal at 13th and Main intersection (Walgreens) is not working. Parts are on the way, and the signal will be repaired by the end of the day. Sorry for the inconvenience. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the intersection if possible. 4-Way Stop Signs are in place, use caution with approaching the intersection.

Using the data reported on 6/16/21 Delaware County has a 7-day average of new cases of COVID 19 of 8.3 per 100,000. This places Grove in the Low COVID-19 Risk Alert Level of Yellow. Since 6-9-21 there have been 25 new cases of COVID 19 Reported. Delaware County has 31 known active cases of COVID-19, of those Grove has 13 active cases and Jay has 7 active cases.
The CDC COVID Data Tracker reports that out of Delaware County's 43,009 citizens 10,115 have been fully vaccinated. This represents 23.5% of the county population. The report also states that of the Delaware County population that is 18 years of age or older 29% are fully vaccinated and of those 65 years of age or older 47.2% are fully vaccinated. Please talk to your Personal Healthcare Provider and follow their advice on vaccinations.

Covid-19 update from Mayor Ed Trumbull:

Data is only updated once a week.
Using the data reported on 6/9/21 Delaware County has a 7-day average of new cases of COVID 19 of 8.3 per 100,000. This places Grove in the Low COVID-19 Risk Alert Level of Yellow. Since 5-26-21 there have been 12 new cases of COVID 19 Reported. Delaware County has 23 known active cases of COVID-19, of those Grove has 9 active cases and Jay has 3 active cases.

The CDC COVID Data Tracker reports that out of Delaware County's 43,009 citizens 9,478 have been fully vaccinated. This represents 22% of the county population. The report also states that of the Delaware County population that is 18 years of age or older 27.2% are fully vaccinated and of those 65 years of age or older 45.5% are fully vaccinated.

The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Grove Garden Club are proud to announce the kickoff of the 2021 Grove Area Yard of the Month Contest beginning in May. The purpose of the monthly contest is to recognize neighbors who demonstrate above-average efforts in maintaining their property and positively contribute to the appearance of the Grove Area. It is a prestigious award and the contest is administered entirely by volunteers.

Each month from May through September, the Yard of the Month Committee will choose between submitted nominations that Grove Area lawn that best typifies the qualities of uniqueness, beauty, and curb appeal.

The Committee will select one residential yard as the “Yard of the Month” each month. The winner of the Yard of the Month will be provided with a decorative yard sign for display indicating their winning yard, a photo and press release will be sent to local media, and winning yard will be recognized on social media.

All residential properties within the Grove Area are eligible. The same property cannot receive more than one award in a 12-month calendar period. Nominations for May’s Yard of the Month are due no later than Tuesday, June 1st.
