Dangerous heat and humidity out there today folks. Heat acclimation is different for everyone but typically takes 5-10 days of heat exposure, so don't overexert yourself. Be vigilant with hydration and rest breaks if you're working outdoors! #okwx #okmesonet

The big storm system is tracking across the state this morning and we're seeing snow developing across part of northeastern OK. This snow is accumulating already this morning in parts of Pawnee, Osage and Washington Co. And JD McManus is reporting snow quickly accumulating just north of the metro on highway 75. We do have a travel advisory for the Tulsa metro through noon with winter storm warnings to the northwest and west. Dry air is invading southeastern OK and this will keep locations southeast of the metro mostly dry, If you have travel plans, use caution. FYI- Lots of snow also in the OKC region this morning.
