Village of Hickory Point

We want to replace some windows. Recommendations?
Thanks in advance!
I hope that as I write this that everyone is doing well. I would like to thank everyone that helped on the clean-up day! The park is looking great. As summer approaches and more people start to come back to the lake that we take the time to look over some of the part rules. First, please look over the pool rules. Second, remember that golf carts are not to be driven by anyone under 14 without an adult in the cart. Finally, no water crafts are to be stored at individuals homes. Your cooperation on these items would be appreciated. Remember, we will have a pool opening gathering, Saturday morning (29th). The Social committee will have more on this.
The Board has decided since we don't have any new business and all old business is caught up. We will not be having a meeting on March 13th. We have renewed the pool and mowing contract with Dave and Marvin for another year, they did a great job last year. If you have anything that the board needs to address please contact one of the board members and we will address it.
My husband, Larry, and I just moved into Hickory Point. We bought Gina’s place. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to welcome us. We are anxious to get to know everyone and become a part of the community. Can anyone reading this post tell me how to become of member here on FB and how we can keep up with what’s happening in the community. We are at last about 99% complete in moving in and getting our house in order. You are welcome to stop by anytime for a chat or cup of coffee.
Hey Everyone! Although Averi, Lachlan & I have LOVED our time here at Hickory Point, we have made the decision to list our house as we move back to Tulsa for my new job. We couldn't have asked for a better community to be a part of and live in which makes the decision hard, but at the end it is the best one for us right now.

After we move we will be up most weekends until it sells enjoying the summer, but wanted to share the Zillow link with everyone in case you know anyone interested in moving into our lovely community!

We are doing for Sale By Owner, so would love to talk to them!

A big "Thank You" to Dave and Marvin for taking care of our critters. And to Gail Miller, kudos for your eagle eye assist. - James & Carma
Is anyone having recent trouble with Verizon phone and text message working properly?
This Fox was behind our house feasting on Goose! The goose had a band and was a Greater Canada Goose originally banded in 2015 in Minnesota, before he could fly.
We are new to the neighborhood! And are in the process of moving in to our little.piece of hea en. We purchased Carol Rippes home, lot 23, and plan to live here full time!
Looking forward to meeting our neighbors.
David and Gail
My husband, David, and I are in the process of purchasing Carol Rippe's property! We are really looking forward to meeting our new neighbors.
Blue plastic tub floated up at Greenbrier, has old headlights and taillights and other car parts. If this belongs to you it can

Is anyone missing this cute kitten in the Hickory Point area? If there is anyone who would like to claim or have this friendly little kitten, just let me know. We already have two cats who don't tolerate any newcomers, and this one just showed up on my doorstep this morning.

Had a great turnout for the opening of the pool brunch. It was GREAT to see everyone out visiting & having a good time. The weather was very chilly, so that put a damper on the pool being full, but there were some brave kids that took the polar plunge.( Burrr) Later in the day we had the horseshoe tournament. Had a lot of friendly competition and a fun time. We had to finish the championship round on Sunday due to it getting to dark to finish on Saturday. We did have a mishap during the championship game, but all is good. The 2 teams in the final were Dave Henderson and his partner Elaine Hopkins vs Jeanette Bolte and partner Rick Cobb. As Rick was throwing a horseshoe, it hit the top of the peg and made a fluke spin, hitting Jeanette in face. After a brief timeout, play resumed & Rick and Jeanette took the trophy (& some cash) home.
It's really been GREAT to see the park busy again, with so many families, kids, pets & everyone having a fun time!!
A big thanks goes out to Steve & Lisa East for organizing the horseshoe tournament & anyone who helped in any way.
