Oklahoma gardening:
Do not put full sun plants in full sun, put them where they will be in light shade in the afternoon. Too much heat is why your tomatoes won't ripen.
 It was the racoons .
Shiso(Beefsteak plant), Oregano, Creeping Jenny, Monkey grass, Bradford Pear, and anything in the Mint, Morning Glory, or Vinca families should only be planted if you like being socially alienated by your neighbors. Congratulations on your new Mimosa tree(s),they are beautiful.
 It was a possum.
Plant the majority of your fruit, veg, and herb in the same area, or you're going to water your whole property twice a day in July and August.
It was a vole. Rats have tails.
Iris, Lily, Yucca, Roses, Hibiscus, Canna, Zinnia, Echinacea, Larkspur, Columbine, False Indigo, Indian Blanket, Milkweeds,Thistles, Smoke Tree, Elderberry, Oak, Maples, and native grasses all require minimal watering in hot summers.
It was a gopher.
I'm sorry to hear about that Bermuda in your raised beds.
 It was the neighbors cat.
11. I know that tree LOOKS healthy, but ...trim those limbs.
 It was an armadillo.
I'm sorry about your squashes. Get some from your neighbor. They've never even SEEN a squash bug.
It was squirrels. If they look at you funny, run. You WON'T win that fight.
The screaming is normal. No, cicadas aren't toxic to your dog. Don't panic when their mouth vibrates. We call them locusts. The actual locusts are probably what ate your entire marigold last night.
 It was racoons.
Water at the base of the plant.
It was your neighbor and a bottle of roundup.
Wear your hair up in June. They don't bite, their legs are just a bit prickly. They are so dumb. That one will bang against your window for days, just put it outside.
Please, don't cry,we are here for you.
Wasps eat vegetable garden pests. Stay calm , and they'll probably leave you alone. Scream and wave your arms and swat at them and you'll need to go to the emergency room.
 It was racoons.
Lumber piles and not having a designated lawn/garden/kitchen waste compost area is why you have so many mosquitoes, scorpions, earwigs, cockroaches, and Pill Bugs(Rollie Pollies). *Bonus* Having a designated compost gives you volunteer fruit and veg in spring, and is a great place to grow potatoes and trap crops.
It will itch for days. Only panic if there's a circle rash.
You can't get rid of the ants, save your money, time and effort. All your going to accomplish is poisoning your beneficial insects. *Exception* Fire ants.
 It was racoons.
 Make toad houses.
That other screaming is Peepers looking for a girlfriend .
That lizard you THINK you may have seen is a skink. It left you a tail. As a gift.
It was the locusts. Not the cicada locusts, but the grasshopper locusts. Yes, yes ..they are bigger than you thought.
Leave the big black snake alone. He eats the Copperheads and Pygmy Rattlers. Avoid having shaded things they can sleep, and breed, under. Toad houses should be smaller.
32. It's not dead, it's heat stressed. It will come back in spring.
 It was racoons.
No, that's definitely dead. Try watering six times a day.
 It was racoons.
It will be okay. You are supposed to enjoying this.
Replant in mid April. And August.
It was racoons. They now live in your porch.
Harvest pumpkins and winter squash when you see the orb spiders.
40. The racoons now live in your house. No, I don't know how they got in, but they can open sliding doors.
