Since 2001, the Christian Medical Clinic of Grand Lake has been providing weekly health care to those without insurance, not eligible for Medicare or Medicaid or the resources to pay.

Clinic registration begins at 3:00 p.m. Patients are given the opportunity to speak with pastors and receive prayer. There are medical doctors, registered nurses nurse aides nurse assistants, and local pastors.
Services that are provided include screenings, referrals to a specialist if needed, along with lab and radiology services. According to Administrator Pat Sorrels, prescription refills are also available. “We continued to refill prescriptions through COVID” she explained “However the clinic does not provide any controlled drugs.”
The Christain Medical Center depends on donations and all workers are volunteers.
The board of directors include Chairman, Dr. Rollin Bland, Dr. Zachary Bechtol Ken Noteboom, Clara Mills, Wilma Spears, Debbie Totty, Konnie Wentworth, and Terri Spencer.
